Trying for a Baby Part Six

Good afternoon everyone.
I hope everyone is doing a bit better now-everyone seems very down at the moment.
I had a really "fun" shopping trip this weekend with my SIL into baby shops (she has two little ones), where she was telling me all about her friend who is pregnant, and how long it took them, talking about how someone else is going through early menopause, someone else she knows is having twins and then she was wondering how long people wait until they go to the docs and how awful it must be if you can't fall pg. All the while I had to feign ignorance as she doesn't know we're TTC. Does anyone else find themselves getting a fixed grin in these situations?!?
BUT todays another day, so I say we all shake it off, gather up our PMA and go for it! LOL! Have I got anyone convinced?!?0 -
*brings in more supplies of chocolate and plenty of SBTA*
Sis is also feeling down and fed up etc, so her and her hubby have booked a last minute break away leaving this weekend. It's a shame I'll miss her (I'm popping back to UK for a visit this weekend), but I'm pleased that she will have a proper break from things and have some fun. Sometimes, it's exactly what you need.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Hey guys,
I'm in a mood too like most of you guys seem to be!
CD3 for me. Bummer.
I'm trying to see the good in it though.
1. This makes my cycle 29 days long so hopefully this means I'm getting back to normal after pill.
2. AF has been heavy so hopefully this means that the lining of the womb is thick ready for an egg to burrow into after the pill?
3. I'll be a month further into my debt payments. If I'd have fallen pg last month I would have used all my maternity pay paying off my debt. Now I will have an extra month's maternity that can be used for the family - not the debt! and every month I don't fall pg I will have an extra month's maternity that is not swallowed by debt.
This month I promise not to symptom spot.0 -
OK, time to laugh at me (or not, it depends on how geeky you think I am for this! hahaha).
Anyway, do any of you watch the show Supernatural? With the two very tasty guys in it? Well, there is a Supernatural fan convention in Birmingham, in May this year, and I have a ticket to go!Both of the main stars will be there, along with some other stars of the show and I will probably turn into an idiotic, drooling fangirl who is only capable of giggling a lot and saying a very quiet 'hi' when the time comes for me to have my photo taken with them. Trust me, that's what happened when I met Misha Collins (who played Castiel in the show) at a convention in Germany last year. This confident young woman, who's given speeches to an audience of hundreds, provided online training to multiple countries at one time, turns into the shyest pipsqueak you ever did see when confronted with one of her idols. hahahaha
So, I will be geeky again this year and attend the con and have a bl00dy fantastic time whilst there.
And hey, at least I'm not as bad as one of the German fans at the convention last year:
'So, Misha, what did it feel like to explode?' (his character literally explodes in an episode)
I had to laugh, mainly because I am STILL wondering if this girl can tell the difference between fact and fiction! lol
You know, sometimes as I type some of this stuff, or try to explain an episode to someone else, I realise how silly it all sounds. But I still don't care. It helps that the two main characters are HOT!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

You have many cycle buddies though, Penny & Smash at CD3, Countrybum at CD1 and KimmyMarky at CD4:o
What's this with cycle syncing? I was telling DH that our cycles have tendency to sync, and he had heard of it, but said it doesn't happen in real life. Really?:DI'm trying to see the good in it though.

What was the answer though?:p
I've been to a Star Trek thingy at Hyde Park once, so I may be a bit geeky too:o0
