Trying for a Baby Part Six

Have added you to the first page:)I've started to get my head around the PCO dx - have seen a gynae now (was a smidge useless but has given me a blood form for the FSH & LH levels on CD2-5 (if AF ever shows!) and done some swabs_pale_ and go back in 6wks) - and see GP tomorrow to see about insulin resistance test etc...Problem is, having been pretty much 28day cycles since coming off the pill in Aug/Sept I'm now on CD45(28) with BFNs. So I'm a smidge irritated!I had the tiniest bit of spotting Sunday night, so thought that was the beginning of AF showing up, so cancelled my smear appt for y'day, but still nothing! And of course now I'm doing the 'well it could be implantation spotting...' thing in my head...which is just driving me even more mental! We were trying to avoid the Ov tests and the temping and all that, but I think with the PCO we might need to - if only so we have more info if it does prove difficult to get that illusive BFP..? I have a few health conditions though, and have a poor immune system and sleep disorders (hence I'm posting this at stupid o'clock), so I'm thinking that it could very well a big waste of time trying to temp cos I'd never wake up at the same time every day etc (even if I set an alarm)...? Any help ladies? Have any of you done temping with sleep disorders before?
It does tend to produce high temps which is a bore as that's the most important temp:(
You might still be able to see the shift though. Good luck:)P.p.s. I caved and signed up to FF through one of your links...why, when it knows I'm on CD 45, does it think I'll be ovulating nowish and AF due in 2 weeks? I'd've thought the predictions would sort of wait til AF had shown up for this cycle??
Go to 'Sharing' - 'Home page setup' on the left pane.
Near the bottom, there's 'Published charts'.
Click your chart on the right box, and add it to the left and 'Save settings'
Then go to left pane 'My Home Page' and copy & paste the link:)Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Woke up to text from DH saying that they're now even more delayed, and he won't now be home til tomorrow lunchtime!
I took the day off work and everything! (Can't take tomorrow off as have a meeting)
AND I've got period pains
Woe is me!!
*slopes off to make herself a cup of tea and possibly have chocolate for breakfast*

Hope you don't get AF though:o0 -
Morning all! Well this month I seem to have ovulated with a decent length LP, we DTD on 4 out of 5 days around ovulation and most importantly... I have beautiful new shoes
(and a not quite so beautiful new handbag to go with them). I am a very happy bunny at the moment. Even the fact I have to have a mammogram today is not bringing me down.

3. I'll be a month further into my debt payments. If I'd have fallen pg last month I would have used all my maternity pay paying off my debt. Now I will have an extra month's maternity that can be used for the family - not the debt! and every month I don't fall pg I will have an extra month's maternity that is not swallowed by debt.
This month I promise not to symptom spot.
Thanks MrsExcited, I'm liking the PMA. Although we don't have debt we have spent every penny of our savings recently and I want to take the full 12 months maternity. So every month I'm not pregnant means that much more savings to make life easier when we do have an ickle baby.
I never symptom spot, maybe I'm just too ignorant of what's happening to my body or maybe I'm just weird!euronorris wrote: »@Jen151 I LOVE you!
And Jensen....phwoarrrrrrrr. Hahaha, sorry, couldn't resist.
I think I love jen as wel! Photos of hot semi-naked men are always appreciated :-)Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Big hugs BB - that's rubbish! That happened recently to my DH when he was supposed to meet me in the states (even down to the period pains when he was due to arrive). Depending on how they handled his delays he could try writing a short complaint letter. DH did that and got a nice apology and airline vouchers. Just gotta find a way to use them now.
Welcome darkphaery, good luck with it all
And keza hope you have a brill time. I would love to go to hawaii so I am immensely jealous.0 -
Welcome Darkphaery:wave:
I've put your name up on the first page, let me know if you'd like it changed:)
You could start temping? It'll show when you ov'd. It won't help with TTCing, but it'll give you the date to stop BDing:p Fertility Friend is good and free. You can enter things like +opk and ewcm etc
Here's my chart;http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900
You only started in May, and since it hasn't been a year the doctors won't do anything.
Relax and keep BDing:o Good luck:)
Thanks-i think i'll start temping next cycle, if this one proves fruitlessbut am trying to be positive :j
On a more personal note how does everyone keep it erm fresh in the bedroom? I'm don't have the highest drive and sometimes struggle to keep it from being strictly baby making? Any advice?
SBD to all xx0 -
must_try_harder, ov at CD16 sounds great!:j
The new shoes sounds lovely too:happyhear
How practical are they for pg woman?:D
Amazing that you don't SS, do you not get any pre-AF symptoms?
Good luck for the mammogram:o0 -

I think that's really important, especially when you've been trying for a while (which we haven't, yet, so no idea how we'll get on!)
I guess just try to focus on it being fun, rather than functional. Maybe even resolve to have a night where you do anything BUT actually have sex - i.e. lots of kissing and cuddling and....use your imaginationI always find that if I can't have it, I want it more!
Try doing it in different rooms in your house?
Treat both of you to some nice new undies?
Schedule some proper "date nights"?
Have a shower together (that gets my OH v horny, me not so much!)
Watch a steamy movie together?
Sorry, those are all pretty boring ideas...!

Oh my god you're a genius! If I purchase loads of pairs of shoes that are highly impractical for pg women, then obviously I'll be tempting fate and will fall pg immediately. I'm going to email DH straight away to tell him of my (your) new foolproof plan! Thanks
It's weird but I don't really, certainly none that could be confused with early pg symptoms.
Thanks. I'm 100% convinced there's nothing wrong, and just hoping it's doesn't hurt too much!0 -

OH and I tend to choose new underwear together. That way, I get something I feel comfortable and sexy wearing, and I know that he definitely likes it too.
Sometimes I just disappear off into the bedroom also, get myself all done up in the underwear, with heels and walk out again and act like it's completely normal and go about some of the normal household tasks (bending over to reach for something from the bottom of the fridge is a good one!). OH is soon following me around then, trying to tempt me into the bedroom. Let him work for it a bit.
Date nights, as already suggested, are good too. That helps to get me more in the mood, than him as I just feel more connected then.
Other than that, there are toys, lubes, games and of course !!!!!! (but only if you like it).
