OK, time to laugh at me (or not, it depends on how geeky you think I am for this! hahaha).

I've never seen Supernaturals, but I'm in no position to call anyone a geek given that I'm an engineer...! :o

Of course not - the more the merrier! (although, ironically, not!) Hope you won't be here for long (in the nicest possible way!)
    Maybe because I know if I didn't get preg this cycle I wouldn't have a 2011 baby.

    :( That's sad.

Had definite AF pains this evening whilst I was at the gym, plus have v sore nipples which is what happened last month for a few days before AF. Bet it arrives tonight or tomorrow :(

just had a text from my DH - his flight is delayed so he's not going to be home until about 5pm tomorrow now, instead of lunchtime :( booooooo.

evening ladies hope the PMA has begun to rise again!!! it is however a little freaky how so many of us have synced cycles! QQ that link you posted to HCG levels was very interesting there is little chance of a BFP until 4 days late if you ovulated bang on time! makes me not want to test. This cycle I will be testing at 2 days late because we are going up north to a wedding and I need to think of some non drinking excuse!

well ive been good and eaten well today and been to the gym figured need to get nice and healthy anyway and that will help with the baby making!

4DPO I am trying to stay nicely positive and hope for a sticky bean :D x

Just blubbed my way through One Born Every Minute...watching that little babba trying to open her eyes for the first time just made my heart melt.

Early night for me, (although not that early now - later than intended!) am still so shattered from the weekend.

Night night everyone, happy BDing...! ;)

Meant to say - I don't understand this! :o I think I must have got the wrong end of the stick somewhere, but I thought that sensitive tests picked up HcG levels of about 20 mIU/ml. According to that link, and assuming you're referring to a 28 day cycle, then even on CD28 you'd have 75mIU/ml on average....so why wouldn't you get a BFP until 4 days late?

Someone please enlighten me - I'm confused! (Doesn't take much where TTC is concerned!)

QQ - My AF's are usually light with one 'medium' day. Is there anything I can take to thicken my lining..? I know it may result in heavier AF but, hoping it will coax a sticky bean
They say pineapple core in the beginning of 2ww may be beneficial, don't think it'll thicken it but I eat them:p
    http://www.amandabears.com/pineapple-core-for-implantation.html

Yours is probably thick enough though:)
I agree with cycle's syncing - I know lots of girls it happens with! My only trouble is, I sync one month and then I'm completely out from the rest as my cycles are so short..! Looks like I'll be the first to be SSing........
    I'd love a short cycle:o

Hahaha, I just went to use the loo but the cleaner was busy cleaning them, so I went up one floor and used the loos there. All is fine, until I walk out and try to go back to my desk. I got half way down the corridor before I realised I was still on the wrong floor! haha I need sleep!

So basically our approach at the minute is to BD every other day from cycle day 10 until i get my period!! Not really sure what other approach to take. The Dr did say we could go back in March time if i still wasn't getting positive OPK's but she was just a locum and i'm a bit worried if i go and see another Dr they may just tell me to wait until it's been a year. My DH is lovely and fab and also desperately wants a baby but i sometimes feel a little alone in all of this so thought i would try and join in here a bit more :) so sorry for the mammoth post!!! baby wishes to all x
    Welcome Darkphaery:wave:
I've put your name up on the first page, let me know if you'd like it changed:)

You could start temping? It'll show when you ov'd. It won't help with TTCing, but it'll give you the date to stop BDing:p Fertility Friend is good and free. You can enter things like +opk and ewcm etc

    Here's my chart;http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900

You only started in May, and since it hasn't been a year the doctors won't do anything.
Relax and keep BDing:o Good luck:)

thanks ladies! :) hopefully i will return with good news! we go to Honolulu for 7 nights then dropping into Las Vegas for 5 nights on the way back :) second honeymoon before the pitter patter of tiny bambini feeties :) xx
    Have a great time!:j
Thanks QQ. I tried it yesterday and it sunk in a little ball so must still be EWCM! I still haven't had a high on my CBFM though and im now CD21 :(

Must be something in the water cause i'm feeling a bit down today as well. Maybe because I know if I didn't get preg this cycle I wouldn't have a 2011 baby.
    I know:( Sad...

Sensitive test detect hcg levels at 10miu. Some can get + as early as 7-8dpo:p

I'm still mainly lurking, and not too often cos I don't want to get into obsession mode (waaaay too easy for me to do that!:o), mainly cos I'll be hell to live with, drive myself mental (and DH too ;)) and be devastated when AF shows each month

I've started to get my head around the PCO dx - have seen a gynae now (was a smidge useless but has given me a blood form for the FSH & LH levels on CD2-5 (if AF ever shows!) and done some swabs_pale_ and go back in 6wks) - and see GP tomorrow to see about insulin resistance test etc...

Problem is, having been pretty much 28day cycles since coming off the pill in Aug/Sept I'm now on CD45(28) with BFNs. So I'm a smidge irritated! I just want to know definitively one way or the other (and sounds like some of you ladies are/have just been in this position right now too :(). I had the tiniest bit of spotting Sunday night, so thought that was the beginning of AF showing up, so cancelled my smear appt for y'day, but still nothing! And of course now I'm doing the 'well it could be implantation spotting...' thing in my head...which is just driving me even more mental! ;):o

We were trying to avoid the Ov tests and the temping and all that, but I think with the PCO we might need to - if only so we have more info if it does prove difficult to get that illusive BFP..? I have a few health conditions though, and have a poor immune system and sleep disorders (hence I'm posting this at stupid o'clock :p), so I'm thinking that it could very well a big waste of time trying to temp cos I'd never wake up at the same time every day etc (even if I set an alarm)...? Any help ladies? Have any of you done temping with sleep disorders before?

Anyway, here's to a massive surge of BFPs to start off March properly! Good luck ladies :D

P.s. QQ can you tentatively add me to the list please? TTC#1 since 12/10 :o
P.p.s. I caved and signed up to FF through one of your links...why, when it knows I'm on CD 45, does it think I'll be ovulating nowish and AF due in 2 weeks? I'd've thought the predictions would sort of wait til AF had shown up for this cycle??
