Still no AF, and I daren't test again, I can't face that blank space where there should be a pair of pink lines. I'll just have to wait and see. Maybe if no AF by Friday I'll test again.

Aw Fellpony you sound so down :( Try to stay positive, I know it's difficult sometimes. :grouphug:
What do you think anyone else have any experience with te cambridge diet??

I like your plan re the hot trainer - it def does help! I go to a class with a yummy trainer and it's a great distraction from the pain that's being inflicted on me! Don't know much about the Cambridge Diet, I'm always a bit dubious about these "faddy" diets.... I tend to favour the good old fashioned "eat less, move more" approach...easier said than done sometimes though I know! :o

Ooh, forgot to say earlier, I bought some cheapie tests from Amazon earlier, thought I'd best stop buying the ones from Boots at £6.99 for 2...! There was me thinking I'd fall pregnant immediately so wouldn't worry about it! :rotfl:

OOOHH! One Born Every Minute is on! Must go find my tissues... :)

  • Just wondering, to any of you who temp and use CBFM, does it tie up when your temp drops your CBFM will say you are ov'ing?

    x
  • my temps, CBFM and OPK were more or less spot on and agreed with each other
QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D
  • Hi all, I just posted this on the Grabit board. Amazon are selling TWO pack pregnancy tests with conception indicator at £5.80 plus free delivery. These normally cost £12.99.

Many thanks for sharing this, estimated delivery is 26th to 1st March which means I am going to have to wait and not test before af due which will be a novelty for me-is a good thing I think!! Doesn’t stop me ss though!

Hope everyone well and had a good weekend. Chuck x
  • Evening ladies,

Long time no speak, or so it feels!!!

Congrats to BFPs I've missed, (((HUGS))) to those with AF and welcome to any newbies I've not mentioned!!!

Well update on me, remember I mentioned my big plans for this year well.... I've decided to go 1 step further as I feel I'm not getting as motivated as I'd like!!! My updated current plans are as follows!!!

    1. Join the Cambridge weight loss plan in the hope to lose 3 or 4 stone
    2. Get back to the gym and start to book the personal trainer (preferably a hot 1, hey a girl needs motivation) ;)
    3. Get a new colour and hairstyle for the new me!!
    4. Get a new wardrobe to celebrate my new body (i'd like a work wardrobe and a 'play' wardrobe!!!) :D
    5. Lose my new figure as I celebrate a BFP

*This list is not complete or exhaustive*

What do you think anyone else have any experience with te cambridge diet??

I would suggest something like diet chef rather than the cambridge diet/lighter life as its less drastic. Not eating at all which is basically what you do on Cambridge diet is not best long term as weight goes back on very quickly, it can also be very difficuilt to stick to. Diet chef may be a good idea for a month or so (if you like the idea of a pre-set food plan) to kick start and then you could follow a healthy eating plan after that. With diet chef you can eat veg and fruit on top. Ebay always has stuff avaliable. Or something like slimming world is good to Hth x

    Hey everyone.

Just saying hello again. No BFP for us yet, but we're still having fun trying. Managed to lose a stone since Xmas too, so that can only help. Hope all is well with you all. Lots of BFP's on the way I'm sure..... :)

My updated current plans are as follows!!!
    Sounds brilliant!:j
I've never done the Cambridge diet, I tend to do something similar to Atkins in a way that I don't eat carbs for lunch.

And as for exercising, I've done 3 times last week, and once yesterday, and I found my follicles (egg) grew a lot faster than ever before:shocked: I had a scan.
So should ov on CD14 which is a record for me:cool:
Could've been CD13, as my 1st day of AF was on the lighter side;)

    Exercise works!:j

managed to dd once and that was 2.5 days after positive opk,
One ov's 12-36hrs after first + opk, and the egg lives for 24 hrs, you never know, fingers crossed:o
urgh - been to docs today and had 4 vials (spelling!) of blood took for a full blood check :-/

didnt even get a biccie! lol

Anyway - how long do you wait until you test? x
I had 4 vials taken once, fainted right after:rotfl:
You should wait until you've missed your AF. That's about 14 days after ov:)
Just wondering, to any of you who temp and use CBFM, does it tie up when your temp drops your CBFM will say you are ov'ing?
I use CBFM, IC OPKs, temp and get follicle scans:p
Temp does not necessarily drop before the rise though.
You can have a look at my previous charts:http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900

The line which says Mon is CBFM. I like to save my sticks, so you'll notice I don't use it from early on:p
