Thanks Smash7 your right, my correction Penny1981 TTC#1 since 02/11 and im 30 and 2 weeks. We decided that we would start trying after my 30th.
Dont know how long cycles are not something i have ever noted before. *must find diary and use it* x

In that case, keeping note of your cycles is the only 'other' thing that is a good idea to do xx ;)

Just wanted to say good luck to all of you on here, wish i'd known this bit was here! We've been trying for nearly a year and i found out this morning i'm 4 weeks pregnant so fingers crossed for all of you :j

    And that's your first post?
  • Hi Ladies

I don't usually post on this thead but I have been reading it the past few days and was looking for some advice. DH and I have been TTC for over a year now, every month I symptom spot and am sure it's 'our month' but it never is. This month things are totally different, today is CD 18, I have lower back pain, my breasts are really painful, my areola have gotten larger over the past few days and there is a definate dark ring around both. This morning when I put on my bra the pain in my nipples was excruciating, so much that it made me feel a bit light headed and I had to cover my nipples with tissue before I put my bra on. I definately feel different this month.
Anyway, I just wanted to know is it much to early to test?
    Thanks.

If you normally ov on CD14 then yes it's too early to test as you're only 4dpo. It's best to wait until arounf 14dpo - but we all get tempted!

It depends on when you ov'd. Earliest you can test is 7dpo (days past ov). But it is usually best to wait until you've missed your period.

Good luck though, it sounds very promising:j
  • Morning Ladies!

    Congratulations Loonytunes!!!

well.... I thought I'd do my OPK last thing before I went to bed because I've been worried that I'm missing any LH surge because of my timings. I do it in secret cos I don't want DH to know about it cos he'll think I'm mad (this is only our 2nd cycle). I peed in a cup in the downstairs loo (he was in bed), had a quick shower while it cooled to room temperature. Came downstairs, dipped the strip and then knocked the contents of the cup all over the floor, my slippers and my PJ bottoms! Yuk!

Oh... and the test was still negative ... not even a faint line and that was CD13, should I be worried?

    Have a lovely day

    Yuk!!!!
That would be my worst nightmare:o
But then, I don't PIAC, or cool it down to room temp, I POAS whatever the instructions says - works fine:p

No, but make sure you BD anyway just in case:cool:

Same here. Didn't feel particularly grumpy this week, but woken up this morning feeling all tearful, for no particular reason.

Oh well, I already bought a KitKat, would you like half? :)
