    Yes, here's my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900

I'm on free version now, so I can only display 2 charts.
    It's great as it's free:cool:

That depends on what day you ask my OH, although we won't start trying until the end of this year. I figure that this time now, gives him a chance to get used to the idea and adjust, and of course enjoy not having the responsibility for a while longer.

Some days, when I talk about it, he immediately says 'but not right now though, right'! :rotfl:And other days he's cooing over babies and kids and talks about how much he looks forward to being a father etc. He's scared and excited at the same time, which is pretty normal I guess (I am too! lol).

Does your OH perhaps just need a little more time?

Ebay £6.50 inc postage (I didn't search for very long, just searched for Basal Body Thermometer and bought it) You can get them as packages with opks and ic hpts but, I didn't bother.

My DH is super excited about babies... And, as he will most likely be a SAHD so, I'm pleased that he is! ;)

Edit to add: A lot of men aren't very good at longing for something that doesn't 'exist' yet... They don't have very good imaginations in that way and only see what they are like with other people's kids, they don't necessarily think 'how would this be if it were my own' IYSWIM

OH keeps saying that he'd like to a SAHD, which is nice, but not financially sound as he earns more than me....by more than 100%. lol And my salary wouldn't be enough to pay all the bills for 3. The 2 of us, yes, but a second income is required if we are to be able to afford a child.

So, I'm thinking that I have my maternity leave, go back to work for a couple years, save a load of money, and then maybe he can take a year's sabbatical so he can enjoy some quality time with junior before they go to school etc. We'll see, everything changes, nothing ever stays the same.

my dh goes along with it more for my benefit really. he does want children at some point but i don't think he will ever say 'lets have a baby now!'

he was trying to put me off for a few months earlier this week but he didn't get very far - lol!!

unless you are trying to trick your oh and trap them by having an 'accident' i think it's normal for them to not be as keen as us but still try for our benefit.

some lucky girls have oh's who are as keen as them - where do you find them?!! lol!
  • Hi ladies,

Thanks for all your replies on OPKs. I am currently on CD14 and tested on CD12 & 13, the control line is the only line that has come up so far.

I take my tests at 5.15pm every day. What time do you ladies do yours? Do you wait for the pee to get to room temperature before dipping the strip?

In my last post I proudly announced that we have been bding everyday, well, maybe I shouldn’t have been so boastful. We bd’d CD 7 – 10 and had 2 nights off then last night we bd’d but afterwards DH was complaining that he was just a piece of meat!! I told him that if he wants a rest then he has to hit the bullseye! Anyway we’re gonna do it everyday for the next 5 days cos I’m expecting to OV but I’m worried that I am missing my LH surge because of something I’m doing wrong with the OPKs. I would have expected a faint line by now!

QQ – love your attitude. Good luck.

He has had 9 years nearly! lol. He knew the score from day dot. Doesn't really want them but doesn't hate them. Think's he will be better when they are grown up out of baby stage. He was an only child so hasn't really been around kids before any way.

I have let him take control over when. I wanted to start last year but he out if off for another year to this year. And says he wants a spring baby. So said we can start next summer. So ... June is when we currently have the start date ... I think i'm more scared than him tbh!!
