I suppose I am thinking that by the time you test positive you could be in the early stages of pregnancy but without knowing it yet. I am worried about foetal alcohol effects thus wondered if you stopped drinking totally or just cut down until you knew??
And everybody knows that, so it was easy to keep at it:D
I think it's OK to drink from AF-few days before ov.CD 27(28) today, been really chilled over the 2ww but trying not to get any false hopes up now. Can any of you ladies tell me what implantation feels like? Had some very odd twinges this morning, don't normally get pains until AF starts I am not getting my hopes up honestly
Good luck!:jsquirrelchops wrote: »Since I posted AF has arrived!
It is an odd feeling really. I do feel a bit disappointed but accepting as it was first try! However also feel strangely relieved too.
Perhaps BD a bit more this month?:o0 -

Morning all
sorry AF arrived squirrelchops but as you said, early days.
am beginning to set sights on a 2012 baby not sure 2011's going to happen. 2012 sounds good too. at the moment OH and i are focussed on saving as much as poss and getting our flat done up and hopefully renting it out if we can afford to, to make a bit more of a nest egg for LO. it would be fab to think that in 18 years time our son/daughter could live in this flat one day if we manage to keep it on
katenut i'm shocked at women who drink and smoke like that through PG. not trying to be judgemental its jus everyone must know its bad for the baby so why do it. a glass of wine on the odd occasion seems fair enough, but going down the pub for 4 seems wrong. through her pregnancy my best pal used to come out to the pub with us but not have anything alcoholic. or on the odd occasion she would order a small glass of champagne - she said if she could only have one drink might as well make it a good one!~ Team Sticky ~

Hi Katenut, I know the jury is still out on implantation pains, but i think I had them, 8DPO I had sharp stabbing pains over a couple of hours, it was on my right side, low, kind of behind my hip bone. Then again at 10DPO (was worried by this point) then on 14DPO I got my BFP! So I don't know for sure but it looks like they may well have been implantation pains (im hoping that rather than something was wrong - going to check with my gp next week).0 -

Morning Ladies!
Congrats to the BFPs and hugs to all that need them. Not much going on here but thought I should delurk.
CD26(34), 7DPO. Got very sore bbs but that's normal a week before AF.
This is the first month that DH also seems really excited about having a baby.
Really got my fingers crossed after the chemical pregnancy last month!
I'm not stressing about things so much this month so I feel quite positive and if it doesn't work then it obviously isn't my turn yet!
Just a little query - has anybody else noticed that taking folic acid lengthens the time before you ov?
For the past year I have had a 28 day cycle, ovulating on day 14. But since taking folic acid, I ovulate on day 19 and have a 34 day cycle?!0 -
Well I'm not graduating just yet
I'm a little apprehensive at the moment and think I will be for at least another 4 weeks or so. I have done another test every day just to make sureSealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

CD1 here
House cleaned, dinner prepared and apple crumble made... all just waiting to be cooked
OH left at 9 this morning to play footie and still isn't back... but it's probably a good thing for him as I'm in a foul mood0
