    Good morning ladies!

:j:j welshpolarbear YAY!!!! BFP!!! Congrats hun!! :j:j
Just read back and you were only saying a few days ago that you felt AF was on her way any time now... Another example of things happening when you least expect them!!! ;) What made you want to do a test in the end?
pawpurrs loving the due date - get BDing!!!
Thanks QQ I hope I did ov late! ;)
phunkles i know what you mean re: ic hpts being addictive... That's why I haven't bought any yet as I have an addictive nature and I will just use them cause they are there. BUT - they are cheap...! :D I was looking at baby names online last night, too!!! I've got a realy problem with boys names - can't seem to find any we both really like. I suppose we've got lots of time for that! Re: ex's baby names - just think, at least you didn't have to be the one to argue with that.....! :rotfl:

Wonder Womble sorry the witch got you xx
Greener Grass Do you take anything to ov? What CD do you usually ov? big hugs hun xx

I don't think there's an animal called QQuaver, but then there may be one lurking somewhere just waiting to be named QQuaver:cool:

    congratulations polarbear!!

how long have you been trying?
  • OV question. If my OV surge is short would taking Vit B complex help? Also would I need to stop taking follic acid separately? If I dont catch this month I thought I would try this next month!!

how long have you been trying?

I came off the pill a year ago. We were vaguely careful between Jan and April as we were still out in New Zealand travelling. Then started trying in May, but we really were just trying randomly, I have to be honest and say that I had no idea about ovulation timing etc.
I bought my bible "What to Expect" in December and I think I've been very lucky as my cycle is so irregular.

Im extra surprised/elated as I have been so ill for the last 15 years really and had tons of ops (for Crohns - ok by tons i mean 9, but that's enough for me!) that I really thought it might not happen. So it's an extra nice present.

Scared stiff now though and hoping my bean sticks!!!!!

Unfortunately, one of my best friends and partner are coming up today (not unfortunately really as can't wait to se her!) but we're going for a nice meal and a drink. I really dont want to tell anyone for another 8 weeks as I know so much can go wrong, but I really don't know what else I can do. We usually enjoy cocktails and stuff together, it really wouldn't be like me to say im not going to drink on a night out. She would be soooo suspicious!!!! Aaargh!!

Please keep positive girls. It will happen for you. I really do hope you will all be joining me very, very soon.

    SBDTA xx
  • Could you say that you aren't drinking as your Doctor has recommended it to help with the Chrohn's? You could say that you have been really suffering with it so you're willing to give it a try and don't want anyone encouraging you to fall off the wagon. It's just a little white lie :D

No, I don't think it'll help the surge. Some have short spikes and others have long lingering ones, but I don't think one is not better than the other.

I think Penny35 told us after her mc, the doctor recommended her to take 800mg of folic acid. I had mc too, so I'm taking 800mg (Vit B & Pregnacare).

It's up to you. I've asked my fertility specialist as well, and he said it's OK to take both:cool:

The usual excuse is I'm taking antibiotics, so can't drink:o
DH drank while on antibiotics once, he had blood in his urine and was even more ill:D The antibiotic was for his stomach (Delhi belly lasting a month:shocked:).
  • So its a BFP pinkpig??? Huge congratulations honey, you will be missed!!! :T:j:T

Also congrats to welshpolarbear on your BFP too :T:j:T

Nothing to report here, 3rd day of Antibiotics and nothing to report hopefully by the time AF arrives (which i'm totally awaiting now) I'll have a clean break at this TTC malarkey (excuse the pun) :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm hoping its the BV that's been holding us back for so long now and I'm totally glad my hunch paid off!!! :D
