I've just found out I've got an interview for a job I applied for (been bumming around self employed for the last year) bit scared about going back to a proper job! Must carry on with life as normal and not think about TTC!!!

Oh and names......we've picked 2 boys and 2 girls names. We agreed really quickly on our favs. 2nd choices we're still 'disscussing'

We're using family's names as middle names. Not sure wether to use mine or his surname as not married, I keep joking that he'll have to marry me if he wants them to have his surname!

QQ – since posting that we have 2 girls names and 2 boys names I’ve completely gone off the boys first names…..

Ilovecushions – are you actually me in disguise?! (has also been bumming around for the last two years but under the guise of temporary staff!) plus I do love cushions and pillows and throws
-Again re baby names are you me….. I tell him whenever we discuss it which hasn’t been for a while that they having my surname cause I don’t want to be called Mrs Hisname at school parents evenings if I’m not lol. He just laughs at me to be honest.

I think baby names are a bit of a minefield really…. Because of me working within the education system there are names I used to like/love but then a pupil pops up with the name and puts me off it completely

Then theres the putting regional accents on to the child and the name sounding awful - between us and our close friends and family theres Scouse, Dorset and West Country, Cockney, Australian and American (Some names just dont sound right in some accents in my opinion)



AND then theres the 3 baby boy names Ive liked since forever
1-[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]We cant use as it’s a first family name in his immediate family and person with the name just wouldn’t let/accept any one being called by that name
2-[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]If we use my surname it is actually setting the child up for a lifetime of bullying
3-[FONT=&quot] [/FONT]My best friend used on her little boy.
So All 3 are out

AF is killing me today good job I’m not in work today really.. But on the plus side of it, it was pretty much 14 days after I did an opk and got a really strong positive (which also means we could have technically missed ov really….)Oh well will be with my oh this time next week so maybe just maybe we might catch it….

I get called Mrs hisname all the time already, must look alot older than I am or something. OH thinks I'm being funny when I tell he has to marry me. I would like to marry him and he would too I think. I just wish we could just go and fill in a form and something and not have a big hooha and fuss. I know he loves me that's all that matters.

I used to work in a pre school and a school a while back and there's plenty of names I have ruled out now! Hadn't thought of the regional accents one.....will have to try it out with names we've picked.

I'm currently trying not to finish the 'nursery' just in case it doesn't happen for us, but I'm sick of it looking such a tip. If I get new job then might buy a sofa bed for it and turn it into another guest room. Hark at me 'another guest room' we've only got a 3 bed house and no one ever comes to stay!

Hes got a two bedroom flat - we currently have our room and a guest room but I like the guest room better so come april the guest room will be our room and our room will be our nursery which will become a dumping ground for junk until a bfp when itll become a babys room. In the last year and a half weve had over night guests for one night and that was his parents who didnt really want to stay but felt obliged theyd of prefered a hotel hell Id of prefered they stayed in a hotel :rotfl:

Our would be nursery is empty except for a rather bright carpet:p
I don't think DH suspects a thing.
