    Done my 2nd IUI:cool:

It went well, it was painless - which is good, it means we got the timing right. The eggs were released on time, and the doctor said my lining was excellent as is my cm:p

DH has out done himself and produced a very decent sample for a change. Last time (the doctor said 'disappointing sample') it was 13 million motile post wash, while this time it was 28 million:dance:

The morphology was slightly worse at 3% (ie 97% abnormal shape), while last time it was 4%. Not a big difference I hope.

    2ww begins...
so definately wont be trying for a while.
Hope it works out soon (((hugs))).
But noticing cm for when you are back ttcing again is good:cool:

Since a lot of our cycles has synced, we are all getting ewcm at the same time:p

I'm keeping positive. Apparently I'm in my peak of ovulating. Have been BD-ing every other day - is that what you guys do? I read somewhere that's prob better than every day...?
Every other day is good, but some do every day around ov.
    Good luck!:j

  • Hi can I join your lovely thread?

I am 34 (on Tuesday..) and have been TTC since July 2010, I have a DD age 5, seemed to get pregnant with her no problem but is taking (what feels like) forever this time. In haven't been on any pills or injection since 2008 they gave me major headaches. So not having to wait for that to leave my system.

Is there anything (other than folic acid) I can be taking to help give my system a boost?

(Oh thanks for the link at the start of the thread to the abr's seems well scary reading them, like i am trying to crack some code!! Think I have got it now though... )

    Welcome Fellpony!
I've added you to the first page. Let me know if you'd like it to be changed/removed:)

How are your cycles? Is it regular?
If it's not, then agnus castus taken until ov is supposed to regulate it.

How's your cm? If it's scant, then drinking grapefruit juice from few days before ov may help. If you don't like grapefruit, then you can take Robitussin cough syrup (without decongestant, red bottle) or use a ttc friendly lube like Preseed to help those swimmers swim:o

Other than that, if your luteal phase ( between ov and AF) is shorter than 10 days, then taking vitamin B100 complex may help.

    Good luck:j

    Thanks QQ.

    Cycles are every 27 / 28 days.
Not sure about the rest, it's the first time I have really thought about everything else.
We usually do the BD if not every day then every other. :D
I will be keeping an eye on the rest of the things now I know about them!!
My last AF started on 23rd january, finishing 26th 27th. so am thinking I need to be checking for ov, I have the test sticks, am I best testing in a morning or evening for best results?

Evening everyone!! Sorry I've been a stranger for a little while, been mad busy at work and found myself stressing about TTC so decided to take a bit of a step back.

Hope everyone is well and busy on their baby making expedition :)

QQ - glad it went well today. Fingers crossed this is your time x :j

Congrats Portsmouthali and Skint_Catt! Really good news. Stil can't believe how many BFP's there have been this month!:j:j

Pawpurrs - got my fingers crossed for you too. Really hope it's good news.

CD35 for me. It's been a bit of an busy two weeks, GP has referred me to specialist this week and already have a date of 11th Feb!!! Impressively quick :T

I think I am 9DPO today. I had signs of it last Thursday, EWCM, dip in temp on weds&thurs, and a line that pretty much matched the control line on ic op strip. We BD'd that night and 3&4 days before, but missed the two days immediately before and after. My temperature then shot up the next day so im thinking I did OV then.

I have then been really ogod and been distracted from it as we were away last week and work's been busy.

Then...yesterday I had excruciating pains in my right lower side, it's hard to describe but was kind of behind my hip bone in the front, I lasted from when I got at 6.30am for 2 1/2 hours of agony (sharp stabbing pains), then slowed down and I got the pains less frequently and duller. Haven't had pains today until this evening where there is a dull ache in the same place again.

I am an expert on stomach pain usually as I have Crohn's and have pain almost daily but this was not like I ever have ever - not in the same place or the same type of pain. My partner was so worried in the car on the way to work that he suggested I go to the walk in centre.

As it eased off a bit I didn't need to go and see anyone but googled it when I came home from work and saw all sorts of postings in forums about implantation pains and now can't stop thinking about it again!!! I'd never heard of it before and was so worried about the pains that now I don't know what to think!

Thanks for listening everyone! Just needed to get it off my chest :)
