Pawpurrs - i'm exactly the same with the OV tests. I stare at them until i'm convinced i can see a very tiny little line!:o Sooo hoping you'll get a positive soon!!!

Thanks re implantation bleeding being old blood. I didn't know that! I think it's unlikely to have happened so quickly (6 days at most after BD) as i've just read that it tends to take at least 9 days for implantation. Aaaarrghh! Don't know what to think!

Ok, that's it. I'm doing no thinking whatsoever until 12th Feb. Zzzzzzzzzz...

  • Hello ladies,

Congrats to all the bfps :j:j

QQ wishing you the best of luck, sounds really positive :D

I think that af is round the corner for me, spotty, sore b o o b s and twinges in side - these are always my af symptoms. Not surprised though as we only managed to bd twice this month, shocking !

Might have to put ttc on a bit of a backburner too as redundancy looms at my work, what a downer!

    Lots of PMA to everyone

I need to be checking for ov, I have the test sticks, am I best testing in a morning or evening for best results?
Evening is better, LH surges in the afternoon. Hold on to your wee for at least 3hrs without drinking for more concentrated wee:cool:
CD35 for me. It's been a bit of an busy two weeks, GP has referred me to specialist this week and already have a date of 11th Feb!!! Impressively quick :T

I think I am 9DPO today. I had signs of it last Thursday, EWCM, dip in temp on weds&thurs, and a line that pretty much matched the control line on ic op strip. We BD'd that night and 3&4 days before, but missed the two days immediately before and after. My temperature then shot up the next day so im thinking I did OV then.

I have then been really ogod and been distracted from it as we were away last week and work's been busy.

Then...yesterday I had excruciating pains in my right lower side
    Hope it's implantation pain:)
Also, there's many who got pg just after booking the FS appointment:cool:

Am banishing all thoughts of implantation bleeding, coz (TMI warning!) it was old blood rather than fresh, new blood.
    Fingers crossed for implantation:)
But it could be one of those random mid cycle spotting/ov spotting/energetic BDing:p
For me ttc is on the back burner as my body just doesn't seem to want to play ball. I've had about 100 days of random bleeding then nothing for a week or so, so it looks like it's just not going to happen.
(((Hugs))). Do you know if you are oving?

I love holidays - Ive also had a freaky labour dream last week - proper freaked me out Im blaming one born every minute except I gave birth to a sausage with human features :S not even a walls sausage it was like one of those big sausages that you slice meat off in the deli to put on a sub :s My dreambaby was a sausage
    :rotfl:
    I have verrrrrry sore b o o b s not even to touch like they're just sore all the time (b o o b and Im smuggling peanuts!) :(
    Hmm... that sounds promising...
i did an ic hpk on cd22 (averaging 29/31) bfn of course but why did I do the test *facepalm*
    It's too early:naughty: Wait another week:o
his parents would probably push for us to be married before in the event of a bfp said baby being born.. which caused a little arguement think its easier to carry on the way things are anyways:)
If that's the case, you should plan your wedding asap:)
My parents were like that, but they paid for my wedding:p
Reckon I could start new job, conceive in June/July, have baby in March/April then get married in June? Would that be bonkers to get married 2 months after having a baby? I want to look hot on my wedding day, not old and tired and fat................................
    Long time no see!
Some celebrities look great 2 months after giving birth:cool:

Can you try a better test? Cheapys only give super faint lines at the beginning...

Mrsvicx when are you testing? Hope blood results are good!
Monekybrain hope everything works out ok at work. There's a lot of it about at the moment which is scary...
pawpurrs have you been trying sensitive tests? how long are you after ov? Could the blood have been implantation? In which case HcG won't show on hpt for another few days....
phunkles maybe take a sensitive test next weekend? hope ssing is a good sign!

CD17(22) here, nothing new to report.

What a beautiful day! Looking forward to taking my gorgeous boy (dog :D) for a walk!

weshpoarbear, could be a pregnancy cyst? Etopic? Have you done a test yet? If not and your concerned you should go to the docs hun. Are you at the stage it could show positive yet? If it is test and if the pains continue you need a scan to make sure what it is.
    Hope you feel better soon,
Hi pawpurrs, I am only 10DPO today, but i did a cheapie test this morning purely because I was worried about the pains, BFN, but didn't expect anything else TBH.

I don't know anything about ectopic or pregnancy cyst, have just googled (I know not the best place to look-but only option today) and am quite frightened by what I found!

I haven't had any bleeding or pain while going to the loo, or anything, so not sure. There is no pain again this morning :) but I think if it happens again tonight I will call the docs in the morning to be on the safe side.

    Thanks for your advice x

Im hoping it's implantation pain too, and nothing more sinister. Keeping spirits up. Interesting about those getting pg after boking FS appointments - here's hoping I join that theory!

Really hope things work out for you this time around. Things are sounding good. You work so hard on here and keep everyone's spirits up and the board flowing nicely, you deserve your bit of happiness :)
