Sad news here. My sister started to bleed this morning and has subsequently lost the baby. :( Wish I was there to give her a hug, but she does have her husband, our parents and our other sister there for support and I've been texting. Not sure I should call yet as she may not want to talk to anyone just yet.

Quite upset myself. I know how much they want this, and it was nice to have such good news to focus on.

Sorry, had to share to get it off my chest. SBDTA and hugs to all who need them.

    xxx

sorry to hear that. i found i wanted to speak to people after the initial shock so maybe text to say you are there when she needs you.

i found it helped me to hear about other people who had mc then went on to have a baby in the future - thats probably not what everyone wants to hear though at the time.

i spent a long time going through the miscarriage support thread on here and found that comforting.

Yeh thats the one, it arrived last night and was flicking through it and snorted at the "rectangle" comment. OH asked what, I tol dhim he wouldnt want to know, but he did insist.

Hehe, maybe.... Something like "if the ewcm is rectangle in your undies you are fertile, if round, your not"....or the other way around? I cant quite remember.

Oh Euronorris I am so sorry for your sister. Brings it all home a bit doesnt it? :(

    Was she very far along?

As for the getting in touch, I found it really hard to speak to people straight after my mc. I really only wanted to see OH and that was it. Also, people being upset didnt help me. (Had to tell my Mum to stay away for a few days becuase she was crying which made me worse). As long as you have text her she knows you are thinking of her. Maybe give her a few days and call.

    Hugs and SBDTA xx

Bless her, she was only 2-3 weeks along. She only found out she was pregnant on Saturday.

I did call her in the end, and managed not to be upset on the phone (after having a cry and chat with my manager about, well, everything that's going on right now - got it out of my system a bit).

She sounded OK, I'm not sure it's really sunk in for her yet. But the doctors have signed her off for a week (they said 2 but she insisted on just 1), so she has time to recover and I'm sure they'd extend it if she needs to.

Anyway, I kept it brief and then had a chat with my Mum too. :)

QQ - HUGS! Sorry the witch got you.

    xx

Hi everyone, sorry for butting in on this thread. I read it lots but have never really had the guts to write as everyone seems to already know eachother!
Anyway, we've been trying for a baby now since August, my last period was the 2nd of December and my cycle is usually 28 days exactly. Sooo I was obvs hoping for good news but 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Has anyone else had any experience of this? Feel like I'm in limbo
