Re spots....I have been spotty since I came off the pill. Now each month I look like a teenager again. I was on the pill so long I always thought I had good skin but obv it was the pill helping with that!
I don't just get them on my face but also on my chest and back so have to be careful what I wear somedays to avoid showing them.
Also my hair has totally changed condition and has become much drier and frizzier than it ever was.
    Yuck yuck yuck.
How on earth am I supposed to be able to seduce OH every other night when I look so terrible?!

I'm on CD28 (30) but not feeling it this month. Have just ordered a digital CB ov predictor kit, some preseed and a basal thermometer so at least when I get AF I can be even more pro-active next cycle.

I'm not sure I understand the question...

Sorry I didn't explain it very well! Ive been told its not possible to fall pregnant then have a period, was wondering is this true?

I have been having irregular periods since coming of the pill back in April 10. they started of in around 40 days (+/- a few days either way) for the first 4 or 5 cycles then i went from october til december with only 1 period, over 60 days without! then it came on 2nd dec then on 30th Jan i had (TMI) some blood when at the loo then on 31st it became more and more like a period, lasting 3 or 4 days. not sure why i woulda got it 28 days after the previous as thats never happened since coming off the pill! how messed up am i! very annoying indeed lol.

We had DTD a few times in December but only started properly trying from Jan, so i've no idea whats going on! but i assume the random pains im getting are me ov now? who knows!? my cycles are so messed up thats why we are just trying to see what happens!

    sorry for the long post!

    Hi

You might want to try using OPKs as they will tell you when you OV. When I came off the pill I didn't get AF for 3 months and after 3 months decided to give OPKs a go. Get some real cheap ones off ebay or Amazon and then you won't mind using them every day for a long time potentially.

I think you can OV just before AF but its quite unlikely - also not great I was told. I had a luteul phase of 9/10 days and was told 12-14 was better (but don't worry too much I still got my BFP last month! :D) I would try OPKS first and then see where you go from there.

  • Hi All

OMG i watched that programme last night and it scared me to death!! Ive read back and im glad that the majority that have gone through it says it not as bad as the screaming woman was making out lol

Nothing to report from me really, been temping but i think i messed up a bit over christmas, taking them at different times, hangovers and all sorts so there was no clear time that i think i ov'd. Due on next week i think so just have to wait for AF and try again next month.

I ordered and received the book that peeps on here have mentioned few times so got some bedtime reading (cant really take it to work and read in my lunch break )

Ive been trying for over a year now but only joined this forum a few months ago so still feel like a bit of a newbie so hope its ok for me to stick around on here rather than go to the 12 month thread.

I know i dont post very often and seem to spend most of my time on here catching up with the thread lol but i have learnt so much since i have come on here, so thank you everyone. The first 8-9 months of ttc we were just leaving it to chance but although its upsetting when af comes every month at least i do feel like im heading the right direction if you know what i mean?

Crikey i waffled on a bit, must be my longest post to date :)

    Hope everyone ok anyway :)

Thanks for all the nipple anecdotes! ;) Still very sore but feeling quite crampy/bloated so increasingly I'm thinking it's just AF on it's way. Trying not to get my hopes up!

I saw that "One Born Every Minute" too - saw the last series and the christmas special too, I love that programme! I've never seen anyone make such a noise as that girl, she was ridiculous! (OK so I haven't been through it myself, and I know it bloody hurts, but come on!) So no, it didn't put me off. Having said that, I'd be interested to see how I'd feel watching it if I was actually pregnant.....!
