theres lots of us newbies here this month so we can all be ne together, i know what you mean though it is a bit daunting because everyone knows everyone elses stories etc just chuck yourself in here, everyone is really welcoming and you will soon get the hang of it lol what tests are you using, are the cheapies or the sensitive ones, sometimes makes a difference

big hugs to you both (euronorris and qq) i didnt want to see anyone or talk to anyone after my mc but i was glad of the texts i got when i could be bothered to turn my phone on, i just wanted to be left alone. but understand some people do want to talk.x

nothing much to report here but i have popped to tesco and got those velvet crunch crisps (which ive yet to eat lol) fingers crossed for x2 lol

i think i will try those velvet crunch crisps as well - just for a bit of fun really!! not convinced they will actually work!

loads of people have said to me that you will have twins next time after mc - don't know if there is any truth behind that or not but it's strange so many people say it. my friends sister did have twins after mc.

welcome to the newbies. my af was late one month and had bfn. jsut thought it was my body settling down after being on the pill. not sure what it means if you have regular cycle normally - maybe try a more sensative test?
  • Hugs to euronorris and QQ.

    Whats these crisps??

funny you say that pebbles... have heard the cassava (velvet crunch) helps create twins too. cushions they're veggies you can buy in tescos meant to be good for conception

QQ *hugs* hopefully u and hubby will be together at the right time for prime BDing, this month or v soon xxxx

so sorry to hear about your sis euro *hugs* x

welcome Tiggyroo, no need to feel daunted, we all have a shared goal after all :) good luck with TTC x so you're about 2 weeks late? what kind of tests did you do - if it was home ones it might be worth getting blood test at the docs, more sensitive to picking up pregnancy

    2ww is draaaaaagging

Hi everyone, sorry for butting in on this thread. I read it lots but have never really had the guts to write as everyone seems to already know eachother!
Anyway, we've been trying for a baby now since August, my last period was the 2nd of December and my cycle is usually 28 days exactly. Sooo I was obvs hoping for good news but 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Has anyone else had any experience of this? Feel like I'm in limbo
    Tiggy x
    Hi and welcome:wave:

  • There is a little-known place many call ” The Land Of Twins”, it’s a sleepy old town named Igbo-Ora located in the southwest region of Nigeria. Central to the Yoruba people’s diet is cassava root, a type of wild yam. Research into multiple births carried out at Lagos’s University Teaching Hospital has suggested that a high level of a chemical found in the Yoruba women and the peelings of the cassava root could account for the high level of multiple births. Yams is thought to be high in three substances that are very helpful to fertility. First, arginine, which is an amino acid that is very helpful in increasing fertility. Reproductive endocronologists have been known to use arginine to help more mature women increase their egg quality. Second, aspartic acid. Arginine is synthesized from this nutrient also. Then, glutamic acid which is a component of folate. With nutrient credentials like that, you’re bound to be moving in the right direction!
  • I didn't make that up btw - was googling......

Interesting though and also found its good for IBS so I'll be getting some in!
  • Oh and just read eat it ONLY AFTER ovulation.......as it can stop you ovulating.
