CONGRATS!!!!!! to Debbski, PB, and Little Angel :j:dance::j:dance::j:dance: So pleased for you all
Good luck to Smash and Forumgrazer
Hi to any newbies :hello:
(((Hugs))) to those caught by AF, especially Mrsvicx :grouphug:
(((Hugs))) to Phunkles, I'm still here, lurking about but not posting much. :grouphug: I'm glad to see you back.
I've not go much to say and I've got no idea what my body is doing. AF was due Thursday, but since Tuesday I have only had very light spotting. I'm defo not pg as we didn't DTD within the right time last month. I had a smear on New Years Eve, started spotting Tuesday, but no sign of proper AF yet .... so once again just waiting and waiting  I'm learning to be very patient with all this waiting.
Anyhoooo I'm off to Docs on Monday night. When I went a couple of months back she said if we had had no luck by January to come back to see her and she would refer us for further testing. I'm not overly concerned as I had all the testing 9 or 10 years ago. I just want to put my mind at ease that nothing has changed in that time.

I've just re-checked and my last one was actually CD52 (sorry for the couple of days out) I have never had one that long before but each one seems to be getting longer  I have been keeping track since May and have had the following cycles:
36, 37, 28, 40, 43, 52.
I came off the pill a year ago this month so was hoping things would have settled into a routine by now. How are your cycles? Are they always as long as this time? x
I'm sorry to hear that, if you have been off the pill for a year could you not try the doctors?
I have only had one AF since coming off the pill in September and that was about 55 days, I am now CD61!!!!!
I was thinking about going to the doctors after this next cycle if it's as long as I really don't think it's normal . Before I started the pill i used to go a couple of months with no AF but I never really realised it was a problem!
I'm going to test in the morning again just in case.
Congrats to Puzzledbubbles :j

CONGRATULATIONS - Puzzled Bubbles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j
It's so encouraging seeing all of these BFPs at the start of the year. I'm so pleased for you all.
Can I ask another question??
What colour is EWCM supposed to be? Is it supposed to be transparent like real egg white?
Cheers

My mum was here on holiday about 2 months ago(she lives overseas) She hinted at grandkids and I told her we ttc..........BIG MISTAKE!!!! She's started telling other people, got an email from my cousin saying exciting it is that we trying. Really annoyed, DH said not to tell her because this would happen, but I thought she'd keep it to herself :-( I understand she's excited at the thought of first grandchild, but I just don't like the idea of everyone knowing and am waiting to get the emails that say "so.....whats new?" from random family members.:(
oh bummer Robyn....that's what I'm worried about. I told my Mum ages ago that we would try in April of this year, now I'm hoping that I get my BFP before then because I know she'll be a nightmare after April. Good luck mate!0 -
Congratulations on the BFP Puzzled!!! Fantastic news
xx
PS because I'm in 2ww I'm not drinking, went out with friends last night (managed to successfully hide the fact my 'vodka, soda, lime didn't have any vodka in!!)....

It's not stretching the truth tooooo much as I came of the pill a year ago and we we'ren't all that careful from May really, and if I also factor in that I have Crohns Disease, which adds another huge element to things im thinking they may help.....Will definitely be taking your advice, will let you know hwo it goes!! Hope you can join the BFP's too, and have fun tonightx

Weirdly, throughout me TTC I was convinced that as it was Egg White it was the partially cooked type looking white but really discovered quite late on it's clear and snotty - hope that helps. x
4 BFPs. That's one every other day - keep up the good work chappettes!

Hi Ladies,
Feels likes ages since I last posted and I cannot believe all the BFPs :j:j:j:j Well done and congratulations to all, wooohoooo!!!!!!
So Hubby and I found ourselves surrounded by screaming toddlers over the last few days. Everywhere we went, shopping, cinema, lunch, B&Q, we seemed to be followed by screaming kids - I am sure it was a conspiracy and now OH and I are worried that we aren't ready for kids yet, DOH !
I think its probably nerves, lol.
Two questions, would you recommend buying the fertility monitor thingy (think its about £60) and what is the book that some of you have previously mentioned ??
thanks

Many congrats to everyone who's had a BFP!!!
Certainly is inspiring!!
How do you ladies "switch off" & not think about getting pregnant....or is that something people just say? I've not been trying long - 4 months - but i must think about it every day. Even my OH.
It is starting to annoy me slightly when people ask when we're gonna have a baby (only got married in oct) & I know it's not a secret that we both want children, and despite saying we're not going to try for a while & have other priorities - people just don't seem to believe you - argh!!
Well I'm taking folic acid & have been since august.
It's so weird not talking to my best mate as we talk snout everything but it's nice to know I can speak to likeminded people on here
