oh wow. we only had snow for two days. went to bed , woke up saturday morning and it all gone. thats the prob with living down south and on an island.

although it prob horrib for those who live up north and having so much, but for me it would be fantastic to have so much snow. i've never seen more than about 6 inches deep, lol
I don't think I'd seen much more than about six inches until last year. (Unless you count deliberately driving out into the hills to see it.)

even if we drove to the hill, prob only 8 inches.

going back to maybe the 50's 60's. there is a picture my friend has and it is the lane at the bottom of my mums road.( i love 2 min walk from mums) it is a country type lane ( even tho in town) and the hedges are maybe 12ft tall. and the snow is so deep it is up to the top of the hedges and everyone is walking on the top. due to the drifting and the amount of snow they had. but if we had snow like that now, it be classed as global warming and the island would grind to a halt , like it did when we had 6 inches, lol. But it is fun having snow days home with the children. however i do fully understand how awful it must be for those who have no one to reply on and have to go out in it. then i appreciate it isn't good.

  • afternoon.

big, fat, ****ing negative for me this morning, with a huge drop in temps to boot. no af yet though, so probably tomorrow for that delight. we were both gutted as everything was pointing towards being preg- what with no af symptoms at all, a triphasic chart and a late period- we both had a bit of a cry in the kitchen. would have been really good for it to have been positive now as next week is the first anniversary of my father in laws death, would have softened that grief a bit. but alas....

but on the positive side, i seem to have extended my lp by 2 days if af doesn't arrive today, with b-100 as well as taking extra b6 and agnus castus. didn't really expect it to work, hence thinking af was due.

so having a carpy day, which was topped off nicely with having to take the dog to the vets for her jabs, we don't drive so had to go by bus, which was half an hour late!!! we missed that bus though as we'd started walking home to rearrange appointment! we were able to get a later appointment, but the next bus was 15 mins late! made it to the vets this time though.

hugs to everyone who needs them (((hugs)))

Oh how I wish our snow had disappeared after 2 days. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since it started snowing and it hasn't disappeared yet. The roads are covered in impacted ice. It is absolutely treacherous trying to get anywhere. The main roads are clear, except when the temp is low at morning and afternoon rush hour, then they have hidden patches of black ice. Side roads are a nightmare :(

I love snow, but it's starting to wear a bit thin. Even just going out to put the rubbish in the outside bin is like a military operation requiring wellies and winter woolies :(

I've had this post OV spotting for the last couple of months, any experiences? It was unusual for me before August time, there's not a lot of info on the web, think it may be PCOS oritentated, but wondering if anyone else knew anything.
    Could be low progesterone?

Good thing LP got longer, Vit B takes a while to work. Perhaps the next cycle is it:o
  • I came off the pill in July but only recently started TTC. Once I came off the pill, I noticed my period is really long! like 10 days the last one (13-23 Nov!). where does that put my OV? I have only started to consider using OPK and have ordered them. Wondering if my period is so long then does that mean my OV dates shift too? does my question makes sense?
