  • hi pawpurrs the new house is lovely its perfect (we also got a border collie puppy lol) so now all we want is the little person to fill the spare bedroom.
thanks to everyone for the support its been a bad week but nothing compared to what pawpurrs has been through. and on the positive side it has made OH and i open up and discuss things properly i didnt realise how much he wanted a baby aswell and how willing he is to try things that might help taking zinc etc. i also thought i might panic him if he new how much i was doing lol bbt charting etc but hes very supportive.
hugs to anyone who needs them and sticky baby dust to everyone.

((((hugs)))) Pinkpig & WW. Sorry the witch got you :( But we're all cd1 today, so that means we're cycle buddies now ;) Onwards & upwards ladies!

Welcome to msfc and ((hugs)) for your mc xx

Pawpurrs, thanks for the update. I too would definitely have made the same decision, although I can't imagine how awful it must have been - I agree, far worse than a miscarriage where, after all, the desicion is already made. I hope you get the answers you need, thinking of you & your OH xx

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend (I'm starting mine with a nice glass of wine- first for aaages! After this weekend, back on the wagon...)

Hey Lauralou!! Hope you're well xx

    SBDTA xx

I am a theatre nurse, and yes, we have done a fair few number of operations on ladies who are pregnant. The last one we did was an appendicectomy on a lady who was 32 weeks gone, she left theatre minus a very grotty appendix, but still with bump attached. I know her through a friend, and she went on to give birth to a whopping, healthy 10lb 4oz baby girl!!
When you get your date through for your surgery, would you be able to stop TTC just for that month, just to be sure there isn't an early pregnancy hiding away, then on admission for the op', mention that you are ttc and they will do a pregnancy test to be sure.
It mostly depends on how urgent the surgery is. If it can be put off till the end of a pregnancy, they may well decide to do that, but if it's something like appendicitis, then the priorities are obviously different.

Bad news, scan did not go well:(
The egg has grown, but really slowly, so the doctor thinks it is not a good egg. So no IUI this cycle:cry:

Normally ov at around CD19 is not bad, but having had Clomid & injections and having seen how my egg grew previously + my age, better not risk it.

As for the next, at this rate we'll miss my ov, but I asked for some tablets to delay my AF so if it works, I should ov when I'm with DH:o

The doctor said no need to use protection while BD, as egg won't fertilize anyway. I will not test, I will not test, I will not test:p
I start the AF delaying drug at around 10DPO (it will stop implantation).

A mc would have been easier than the decision I had to make
    I agree (((hugs))).

I wonder if in the future we'll all have IVF to have a baby like in the film 'Gattaca':o It'll be great to have perfect babies every time:o

Well the witch has finally got me :( We bd'd at the right times too. Well it looks like I'm back to my 28 day cycle anyway. The witch got me about 15 mins ago - do I press 'm' on the monitor tomorrow morning?

Yes, you are supposed to set it to CD1 even though it's CD2.
It's up to you though:o I like to have the same CD as FF.
    Well ............ CD1 for me.

I'm having second thoughts about taking AF delaying drug:(
Doctor was reluctant to prescribe it saying it could mess up my cycle. Haven't told DH yet, he should be coming home soon.

Told my mum, and she said whaaat?!
Also, she said ov at CD18/19 isn't late, she always ov'd around there. I always ov'd around there too since my teens. My cycles has always been 35days plus. Mum said hers was close to 40. Mum had 3 kids.

What was I thinking? Is missing December that important?
I'll be missing January anyway though, whether I take the tabs or not:o

    I want a baby now!:j I can't wait 'till February:o

Sorry your scan didn't go well QQ :(

Let's hope it's just us who are the unlucky ones which means the rest will be BFPs! :T:T

I'm counting today as CD1 as there wasn't that much last night, plus it tallies with my 28 day cycle. But it's strange because the month I got pg then had the mc, we bd'd on cd14 and got pg, and that was the only time we did! When I've been using the CBFM I haven't been ov'ing until cd 17 or 18.

Anyway, off to town this morning, hope everyone has a good day :)
