  • oh !!!!!!.

CD 1. Bit gutted and feel rubbish. Also feel silly as it hasn't even been that long but feels like forever.

    However - positives.

If I count CD 1 as today, then I have a 13 day LP. That's OK, isn't it?
I can have a roasting hot hot water bottle on my stomach to ease the cramps.
I can have a boiling hot bath this evening.
I can (and may have already) have a gin and tonic
I can keep charting to get a better idea of my pattern.

    Questions:

I've read that low BBT's after ov can mean that you may be low in progesterone. Mine have been hovering around the coverline for about a week. Is there anything I can take or would it be a trip to the GP?

Fannyanna - hope you are feeling better now. I had a very similar thing with my ears - it was horrible, nearly deaf for a week! Went to the GP and got my ears syringed and he gave me a squirty thing to use. It really helped.

I've had a problem with my ears for a week now. They keep blocking (like when your ears pop) and I then get a headache as I feel there is so much pressure in my head. I've avoided going to the Doctors as I'm not sure what they'll be able to do. I really don't think it's a wax build-up. It feels more like trapped water but I've not really submerged my head in water.

    hugs all xx

Essential oils are generally ok at this stage. Its at the end of pregnancy that we need to be VERY aware! Or once we have a confirmed bfp. I wouldn't worry at this stage. The biggy we are all to avoid in pregnancy is Sage as this can promote labour to start. So once your over due you can sniff it every hour :rotfl:

What oils did she use? If it was something like Lavender this is a gentle all round calming oil that is safe.

I think it was a blend of lavender, lemongrass and peppermint. I think its just me being paranoid but I trained as a therapist about 10 years ago and remembered that you shouldn't use oils during pregnancy. Been out and spent a small fortune on the Clinique Anti-Blemish range today for my awful teenage looking skin. I checked with the lady on the counter that it would be ok to use when I got pregnant and she said she used it throughout hers and still uses it now, just hope that wasn't a sales line! I had a look through whats in them and the only things that stand out are salicylic acid, witch hazel, sea whip (no idea what that is!) and peppermint. I am sure it will be fine though, they are only facial products. When I do get my BFP I might stick to Mamamio stuff to be on the safe side.

My nipples have been a little funny today, sort of fuzzy feeling? not going to read to much in to it though, dont want to get disappointed:o

Hugs to everyone that needs them, dont let TTC get to you, we will all get there I'm sure :)

Oh and  to all the new people, may your stay be short and sweet
  • (((((Hugs))))) DivorcingJack for CD1 but very well done on the pma!

LegalBlonde, QQ will have to add you on the front page but I have added you to today's sticky, I had to do some stalking to check and I've put you down as CD 21, let me know if you want that changed?

lots more ((((((hugs))))) fannyanna, hope you are having a relaxing weekend and feeling a bit better soon
