AFM, well I had my first HIGH reading on CBFM for this month - but Im nervous. I'm nervous that we'll have the same problems as last month in that the first HIGH reading was actually my peak/ovulation. MY CM is a big egg whitey, I guess I'll have to do a pee on another stick and see what that says! I'd *hate* to miss it again. If it does hapen, I am re-setting that blooming machine.

If you are having egg white CM I would start doing lots of BD-ing from now and for the next 4/5 days, maybe a bit longer for good measure! ;)

I agree that you need a donor you like, I hope this one works out well xx

QQ, I've just used an OPK. There's a faint line. Which either means, its on its way, or I've missed it. Do you get a faint line AFTER your surge, or does it disaappear completely?

  • Morning all

I managed not to have a mental breakdown at DH last night, which was an improvement on the day before! I went to my Mum's and we sat around chatting and doing a *little* bit of wine drinking.

My sister almost 'outed' me on FB last night though - I'd been feeling a bit queasy all afternoon (work stress, I think... and all-you-can-eat chinese buffet which I had for lunch). I mentioned it on FB, to which a friend said 'are you up the duff?'. I responded 'I don't think so', to which my little, much loved, hugely tactless sister wrote a whole paragraph about how we shouldn't have told anyone we're trying because any time I feel sick or don't fancy a drink, people will think I'm knocked up.

We hadn't told anyone. I made her remove that comment PDQ! Everyone's going to assume anyway, because we're relatively newlyweds, in our mid twenties, and DH has a son already. I just don't want to broadcast it too much, there are people on my FB who I work with and they don't know...

What about you all? Have you told people you're trying, or are you letting them assume, or are you flat out denying everything whenever anyone asks?!

It can be before and after:o
I'd try one or two more today. Perhaps in the evening and before you go to bed. 3 a day should do the trick:)

No, only my family knows. Quite a few people knows about my mc including work colleagues. So they may suspect we are unsuccessfully TTC, but they don't dare say it aloud:o

Your sister is right, once people knows you are TTC, you can never be sick in front of them:o

And now, thanks to her, people do know...! Ah well, I think the comment was only on there for about 10 minutes - hopefully everyone was off making or eating dinner at that time and no-one noticed.

There are some people who you can never be sick around.

I was on a work trip in Belgium once, single, and came down ill during the dinner event. One of the Partner's walks past and asks 'Oohh, are you pregnant?'. No I'm not you ****!
