    Debt-free and Proud!
Hi all. Still crampy here, very very tired today but could be that DD kept us up in the middle of the night, and the heat. Desperate to test!

Emsbet, I didn;t mean to be blunt about early scans last night, I realise my post was a bit blunt, I suppose I was trying to say that they can offer false reassurance, and they are expensive. Also, I don;t want to be a complete downer, but I don;t think you ever relax in pregnancy after miscarriage. I mcd with my first pregnancy, then had DD which was the worst pregnancy ever for worrying as I bled a lot, and then had a mc in March. I thought I was safe with that one, too, as I got to 10 weeks, but baby had died at 6 weeks.

I suppose you just have to do what makes you feel better, and if an early scan would help, then have one.

QQ, when you say is it TTC#2, I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean TTc for second child? If so, then yes. But it's going to be my fourth pregnancy.

Hey don't worry about it I got what you meant. I do understand that seeing beanie at 8weeks is no guarantee. After BIL and his wife had to terminate recently after they found a incurable heart condition at the 20week scan it hit home that even after 12 weeks there's still no guarantees (although the chance of a successful pregnancy are greatly increased it you reach that point). I have spoken with DH and he is happy for me to have it if I wish. As there's still about three weeks until I can have it done I'm going to take sometime to decide and see how I go.

It's good to get all perspectives good or bad and it's good to be prepared for all eventualities. Your post didn't upset me but gave my a different perspective on the situation. :)

When are you due to test? How many DPO are you?

Lemonmelon I hope you're ok. As Fannyanna said the first month is a toughie but hang in there you will catch that eggie hug_smiley.gif

I had quite a tiring day spent with a one year old girl and her mum:o The child was cute, but didn't realise one needs to entertain her every single minute while she's awake:shocked:

Also I've seen people carrying babies even when they have their buggies with them. I thought they liked holding the baby, but in her case it's because the girl demands it. Otherwise she'll scream/cry. Babies are so selfish:shocked: Amazingly cute though:D

    Tinkwings,
    have a great time BDing!
klump, cervix are sometimes in a difficult position, but hopefully comes to useful position when you are oving:)
lemonmelon, hugs for CD1, have a choccie:o Let's hope next cycle is the one for us:beer:

skintchick, yes, I mean 2nd live baby. Otherwise I'll be TTC#2 with no baby to show for it:o
emsbet, some can lose the baby at birth or right after. But personally I'd be happier knowing if the baby is alive or not. If it died at 6 weeks, then I don't want to wait 'till 12 weeks to find out IYKWIM. (Hence having a scan every 2 weeks last time:o).

Yep! When he first read about CM in the What to Expect book, I said something about "the thing you never needed to know about CM, hey?" and he replied with "well, apparently I did though!" He meant it too! ...guess that sets DH aside from 'the norm' :p

I never did say he was normal tho ;)
    I like your DH:cool:

Yeah I know a few people this has happened to. Very scary stuff but then I guess having a baby is like anything else in life, you just never know how it will turn out.

    Morning ladies!
    fannyanna wrote: »

Lisa – what were your cycles like before going on the pill? A lot of people say that their first few cycles after the pill were long. I guess it takes a while for your body to kick back into natural mode.

Ermmmmm.....I can't remember, it was 11 years ago!!!! I do remeber that they seemed to be very irregular though but I didn't keep very good track of them either!!

    Got it :D
    HERE

Oh, and the stretcher it is, the more fertile it is, basically. Dryer CM is usually after ov/before AF and straight after AF before gearing up for ov.

Ewwww!!! Ok, sorry for TMI but for the last 2 days I have had quite alot of quite wet but also slightly creamy CM (is that even possible?!), is that good? Maybe milky would be a good description?

QQ, I haven't been able to update my chart yet as stupid work t'interweb won't let me go on FF but it has dropped from 36.22° yesterday to 35.82° today. Is 0.4° a significant drop? And yes I am showing off my amazing chemistry skills by being able to put a ° symbol in lol!!!

I have back ache today :(. I spent last night making sugar animals for some cupcakes for a work friend, I was sat on the floor doing them and ended up being sort of bent over half the time. It's too much hassle getting the table out though as I use our camping table and it lives in the garage so it has to be all set up and then thoroughly cleaned first, then put away after! God I sound lazy!!!
  • Thanks QQ, RebekahR, emsbet and fannyanna :) feeling lots better this morning, hopefully I can relax a bit more this month and actually enjoy it!

Lisa26 how do you make sugar animals?sounds really good but ((hugs)) for the backache
