Sigh ... I am on the verge of giving up already ... and it's only month 2.
You don't want to try OPKs? That way you only need to BD around then, and do what comes naturally on the rest of the month:o

Rebekah honey, calm down. None of this stressing is going to do any good.

He's probably feeling under pressure, so why not make tonight a nice evening for you two. Have a nice meal ready, a film/TV show he loves, and have lots of hugs and kisses with no pressure for anything else. No mention of BD'ing or TTC. He'll probably be all over like a rash then!

A bit of reverse psychology - I like it :D

Thats good advice. Maybe have a nice bath together to relax him? Or play fight/tickle, that always ends in sex!! :D I sometimes find straight after work before sorting the dinner out works a treat, less regimental then xx

I had quite a tiring day spent with a one year old girl and her mum:o The child was cute, but didn't realise one needs to entertain her every single minute while she's awake:shocked:

Also I've seen people carrying babies even when they have their buggies with them. I thought they liked holding the baby, but in her case it's because the girl demands it. Otherwise she'll scream/cry. Babies are so selfish:shocked: Amazingly cute though:D
There's nowt easy about babies, but they're so worth it for when they're not screaming ;)
    I like your DH:cool:
    Me too :D

Well the really tough thing for us is I work evenings. So i'm not out of work til 9-930. By the time I've cooked and eaten is gone 1030/11. He wants to go to bed as he has to be up for work and it's all a bit of a faff. I think the pressure this month is coming from the fact he is away so we can't just chuck it off and say ah wait another day as I might ov on Sat or Sun when he isn't around. Well just have to see what happens I guess. Last night I didn't finish work til 11pm so it was too late for both really. I'll try the cuddles in front of tv. If I can get him off his laptop. He likes to sit there working whilst watching. He is so busy at work at moment. I so can't see myself testing this month as i'm convinced one sex session ain't gonna do it.

    Hi everyone :hello:

I'm feeling a bit better today :o I had a bit of a naughty evening, someone slap my wrist! It was one of my bridesmaids' birthdays so went out for a few drinks. Well, one drink turned into four and then I told my friends (we're really close) about the whole PCOS thing, partly because several of them keep asking if I'm pregnant yet. One of them even said, when I told them 'no', you are having enough sex, right?? Anyway, because I suddenly came over all emotional and ended up crying a bit right there in the bar (!), which really surprised me because other than a bit of tears right at the beginning when the PCOS was confirmed I think I've mostly accepted it and moved on. They were all lovely of course, and I don't think I'll get any more direct questions anymore. :o

So, then I remembered that last cycle I ended up crying in the doc's office (again, surprisingly) and then later realised I must have ov'd on that day, so did an iC OPK late last night, and another one mid-morning today and the line is pretty definite, so think I will be ov'ing tomorrow. Yay! And DH and I DTD last night as well, so just got to convince him again tonight and tomorrow and hopefully catch the eggy. :j

Other people who know we're trying - a girl from work who I'm good friends with, I think my boss suspects because I had to tell her all about the PCOS and she sorta said 'well that doesn't matter unless you're trying, right...' cue awkward pause and then I changed the subject. My mum and sister know we're trying and MIL suspects, again because I had to explain I couldn't eat the piles of potato, white bread and white rice that she likes to pile on my plate (she's Portuguese, apparently they always have tonnes of carbs).

Hello to Sa-ra-ra-ra and other newcomers! Hope your stay is short in the nicest possible way :)

(((Hugs))) to lemonmelon, get yourself some nice choccies and wine/cocktails and remember that you have all the fun of another month of baby-making 'practice'. It's hard getting your head round, but you'll get that sticky bean in the end. :)

ETA: Oh, and big well done to bigz! (litteRz) amazing weight loss! And (((hugs))) to rebekah.

    xxx
