I've no idea, but for me personally, of my three pregnancies, I drank on a night out early on in two of them, and both of those I lost. Those had definitely implanted, I lost them later on although still in first trimester, but for me, drinking wihle TTC is an absolute no-no. Probably just superstition on my part, but I alwasy think what if I hadn;t had a drink in those pregnancies? Would I have kept those babies? Oops, getting a bit teary now.

And I have a friend who decided to TTC a few months ago, from being a big drinker and drug user in her past, she stopped everything, ate healthily and took folic acid and was PG within weeks! She has her first scan on Tuesday actually, but has had three episodes of bleeding so we're all holding our breath.

Sorry, that was long-winded, basically I don;t think it prevent implantation (certainly didn;t for me) but it's not a good idea really, anyway.

Think of it like this: is that drink worth more to you than having a baby? I have so many regrets on that score. To paraphrase Kate Moss, a glass of wine or lager doesn;t taste as good as your baby feels.

QQ- erm dont know honestly. 1st month we didnt use ic opks and i didnt have any hpks either. we werent actually trying? But on the other side night before we concieved we where both drunk and had takeaway lol on paper it shouldnt of happened this month really so I dont know Im truthfully at a loss as to why after nearly 2 years of ttc its suddenly happened. Like I said we had stopped actively ttc

SS - sore boobs, feeling sick, tired (afternoon naps are so great!!), weird cramps, the weird taste is coming and going.
