Did you get/have you any symptoms? I would give yourself a week or 2 to get used to it then trot off to the dr's when you 6 weeks preg. Well thats my plan any way!

Congrats redfrog :j, am delighted for you! :j:j:j Make sure to ring your GP tomorrow (if you haven't already) and get an appointment ASAP! Enjoy!

Am pretty sure AF will be with me within 48 hours - my temps have been steadily dropping for the last few days, but never really jumped up after OV anyway, and no pg symptoms either. Just want it to turn up now so we can try again in 2 weeks!

The only symptoms I had was a cold that just wouldn't budge! Haven't felt nauseous at all nor that tired so wasn't expecting to see a +. I hope if shows people with PCOS that it can happen. Do I need to make an appointment with my GP sraight away or should I wait a bit? Do they test you as well?

    Congratulations redfrog! :j

Some doctors will see you straight away, others won't see you until a bit later. Give your docs a call and ask them.

Bigzee - About the weight loss. I REALLY need to lose weight. I'm slowly getting fatter and fatter. I just can't seem to get my head round it. My best friend is getting married at the weekend and I've mentally told myself that after that I'm going on a diet and doing some exercise.
I know (trust me I KNOW) how hard it can be to get on that particular bandwagon. If you want to PM me for support and my story so far (I'm not posting BMIs and weight particulars on an open forum! :p) please feel free.:) I think we may have some issues in common, reading between the lines ;)
Thought i would pop back and let you [STRIKE]bullies[/STRIKE] lovely ladies know that my clearblue digi arrived today :D got a lovely pregnant 2-3 weeks come up :D
    :T Yay!! :D
I already have a couple of stashed digis with conception indicators, and not convinced I'll need to use them any time soon, but thanks for the offer :) I hope they go to the next lady who needs confirmation! ;)

    Hi.
I wonder if you can join you lovely ladies, I have been on the 'Waiting to TTC' for a few months but have now just had AF and its all systems go. AF seems to have regulated very quicly after coming off the pill which was good.
:T Welcome over to this side Glimmer
I can't really help you on the OPKs as I've never had a +ive (PCOS) yet, but they are widely used on here :)

:T Good on you! I appreciate the sacrifice ;):D

I personally would go and see my GP as soon as poss, but in my case I have conditions and such to discuss, and the PCOS would make me enquire sooner than I might ordinarily too- especially with you having a lap' booked.

Different surgeries have different procedures - some make you see the GP, some refer you straight to the midwife (you usually only see them for the first time between wk6 and 12), some ask for a sample (of FMU) to test for themselves... so, in short, you're best asking your GP receptionists :)

    Good luck!! :D
