Thought i would pop back and let you [STRIKE]bullies[/STRIKE] lovely ladies know that my clearblue digi arrived todaygot a lovely pregnant 2-3 weeks come up
I purchased a bundle of 3 on eBay so i have 2 left, I'd like to give them to 2 ladies here but dont know the fairest way of doing it?
Should it be the next in line to test ? The next 2 who get tlp's on cheapies and want a more accurate test ?
My only wish is that they arent wasted, they are out of date but work perfectly well  let me know your opinions !
Hugs to all who need them, :beer:Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Rebekah - I wouldn't worry too much about your OH. Think he's just being a typical man. Also about feeling so hormonal about TTC in month one I found the first month the worst. You might be the same.
Bigzee - About the weight loss. I REALLY need to lose weight. I'm slowly getting fatter and fatter. I just can't seem to get my head round it. My best friend is getting married at the weekend and I've mentally told myself that after that I'm going on a diet and doing some exercise.0 -
The next 2 to get TLP's sounds perfect. Everyone will move from Friday to Thursday testing now LOLOL!!And all get up at 4am to test to beat each other LOLOL.
Oh for my congratulations in my excitement!!!
Please excuse my manners!!!!!!!! xxx0 -
That's sweet of you Mishka.
There are a few ladies testing on Friday so maybe one of those would like them

Yey mishka, - and how sweet you to offer!
GL to those testing tomorrow and Saturday. I am so menstral I think my DW would kill me if she wasn't flying away for business tomorrow for a week.

Don't you love it when you sit on the loo after and it all plops in hehehehe:rotfl:Just sounds funny :T I make hubby listen sometimes look can you hear your spermie coming out :rotfl:Then he tells me off for wasting it
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I actually hate it... I hate the feeling of it, I think it's gross.(I know it's natural and everything but I really don't like the slimy/messiness of it!
Maybe he does want a baby but that now you are actively trying it has become very real to him and he is a scared about what will happen, if he will be any good at being a dad etc (especially if he is an only child and has never been around babies).
It's not just your OH - hey, I feel like that quite often too! (not about being a dad, though!)Bigzee - About the weight loss. I REALLY need to lose weight. I'm slowly getting fatter and fatter. Why not start today? Or tomorrow? You can be disciplined for the next couple of days, and relax a little for your friend's wedding (no need to go crazy) - otherwise you've wasted 4 days of potential weight loss!
If you're actually putting on weight, as opposed to just not being able to lose (but staying the same weight), then you're obviously consuming more calories than you're expending. Don't feel you have to listen to me, but I would highly recommend recording EVERYTHING you eat, and preferably keep tabs on the calorie content. It's not free, but I'd highly recommend a website called Weight Loss Resources, which has a great online calorie-counting diary, works out calories burned through exercise, and also has loads of useful info and a supportive message board (not that you'll need that, obviously, you've got us!)
Baby steps, though, don't try to do too much all at once, or you'll feel like you're depriving yourself and won't stick at it.
Sorry, lecture overAgain, feel free to ignore me! (it's not like I'm Kate Moss, myself!!)
Ho hum well I'm on CD3 and it's borrrrring waiting for ov! My cycles seem to be reasonably regular now (touch wood), so reckon I should ov next weekend or mon/tue the following week. Have told DH that he's not to plan any drunken nights out or trips away that weekend!
Hope you're feeling a bit better now rebekah, sounds like you had some good advice from the girlies

Hi.
I wonder if you can join you lovely ladies, I have been on the 'Waiting to TTC' for a few months but have now just had AF and its all systems go. AF seems to have regulated very quicly after coming off the pill which was good.
Have any of you ladies used the below? Were they accurate or is it best to use them in conjunction with FF?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00307E6JQ/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&m=A4DI4ZJ5WTRP7
Also noticed that the clearblue were at £24 for 20, again any comments on these?

Look forward to hearing back

:hello:Hello and welcome glimmerofhope!
I have used the opks from amazon and they work fine for me.
I haven't used the clear blue one - are they the ones with the smiley faces? (I think you've posted the same link twice).

Thanks Emsbet, sometimes I am a wally.
Will try the OPKs first and then when I am more use to charting my cycles may look at the Clearblue with smiley faces:rotfl:Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. Bog off - I didn't need someone to be rational and state the obvious :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Honestly that was a sarcastic joke in case you think I was being serious.
You are of course completely correct that it's silly to wait until after the wedding. And that's partly my problem - I keep making excuses and putting it off.
The reason I'm fat is because I'm eating junk and sitting on my behind. I know what I need to do to lose weight and I know I can do it because I've done it before. I just can't get into the right frame of mind - which that in itself is obviously crazy as I know full well that losing weight will help with TTC.
I need a good old kick0
