For Rebekah, fannyanna, 2ba3c, candlewax and anyone else who would like one.
CBFM didn't ask me to do a test stick this morning (CD6) - this is only my second cycle of using this, so don't know if this is normal?
ETA thank you for the good luck - it obviously worked - we managed to do all of the races, and it only started to rain on the very last one, so we completed our sports day. Loads of parents turned up to the puppet show - they were nearly out of the classroom door because it was so packed - the shows were funny for all of the wrong reasons - one of the punches' heads flew off because they were whacking the other puppets with their head, and another child got so enthusiastic, that the puppet theatre fell off the table into the audience! Luckily no-one was hurt, and everyone had a lovely time!Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Will try the OPKs first and then when I am more use to charting my cycles may look at the Clearblue with smiley faces:rotfl:
The cheap opks work the same way as the CB smiley ones - they both detect your surge in LH (Lutinizing Hormone) which occurs12-36 hours prior to ov. So really the only difference is the smile face
There is also the CBFM (Clear Blue Fertility Monitor) that detects LH surge and also your surge in Estrogen - which surges just before LH and therefore gives you a bit more warning of ov. They are quite expensive but a number of the ladies on here use them.

Bog off - I didn't need someone to be rational and state the obvious :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Honestly that was a sarcastic joke in case you think I was being serious.
OMG! For a second I thought you were being serious! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

LOL :rotfl:
Well then.....KICK!
Seriously though, I do know how you feel, to some extent. I have a similar issue of knowing what I need to do, but I let myself down by eating more than I need to etc.
I'm not particularly overweight, but I do need to lose a bit, and keep negating all my hard work in the gym by eating cake!
(but I do love cake!)
I guess it's a question of visualising how great it would be to be able to wear "that" dress or to have a figure like xxx - and think of that every time you feel yourself about to fall off the wagon.
We will encourage you! :j

I thought even with the smiley faces it may have come across serious so that's why I did my little disclaimer too.LOL :rotfl:

Thanks for the kick. I think I could definately do with the encouragement.
How's this for a plan.......
I'm seriously not going to start being good for the rest of this week - for various reasons. I will however sit down on Sunday and get myself organised i.e. working out a healthy menu for the week and doing the food shopping.0 -
All I do is google an image, right click on it, save the image location, then click on the toolbar with the mountain picture, paste the link, and it puts the image into the post.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Planning your meals and writing a list is a good idea- that way you are less likely to a) buy naughty food at the shop and b) deviate from your diet.
Make sure you don't cut out all treats completely as you will find it more difficult to stick to - that's why plans such as WW and SW are successful. You get to have your treat but they come at a cost (points/syns) to help you stop eating too much.

An even easier way- if you don't want to save the picture- is to right click the picture, "copy" then right click where you are typing your reply and "paste"

Yeah, I'll probably follow WW again. Lost 2 1/2 stone last time.0
