    Hello all,

Just back from my doctors, she is so lovely.

I'm going to go and have the blood test that you have 7 days before your period is due....can somebody explain to me, what this measures? Im also going to have scans on my ovaries to check for cysts.

Have been massively hormonal this afternoon and Im not ashamed to say there have been some tears!

How's everybody else holding up. *Blows raspberrys @ Mondays*

Can anyone quickly remind me of something.....

How many days before ov can you BD and potentially get PG?

I seem to think it's only a couple of days but then I think I remember reading that sperm can stay alive for up to 7 days.

EDIT: Ok, I'm basically asking is there a chance of getting PG if you ov 5 days after BD?

I think those are the ones to check your hormone levels to see if you have ov'd. But I maybe wrong - hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon. :o

I believe that sperm can survive up to 5-7 days if the conditions are right - i.e. fertile CM, and the right BBT and pH levels inside the womb.
