HUGE Congrat Mishka :j
All the talk of courgette cake and chicken feet dim sum is making me _pale_.
Emsbet - Love that you've named the prize sperm this month. Go Bob!
My OH also took zinc for over a year when we were trying too. We didn't know if he had any problems, but as we knew it would improve the swimmers, so we thought that we may as well. It's very cheap at the supermarket, so worth a go even if it improves things by a tiny amount. Also, make sure he doesn't sit with the laptop on his legs, as this is also very bad for the swimmers....TTC #3..........0 -

I just don't want Kaemi to get AF...Hehe! It's ok because this month's eggie is called Jayne
Go go Bob & Jayne!:kisses3:LittleMissGiggle wrote: »I just dont know whether to be getting myself ready for bding at ov time or whether I should be stocking up on IC tests!0 -
Thanks Colli & eveyone :A
It just gets pants when so much effort and pressure is put on during one week or even a few days a month to BD and make an effort
So wierd we spend most of our lives trying NOT to get PG and then when you decide you want one it seems like the hardest thing in the world
Tell me about it, I don't know whether to laugh or cry when I think of how hard I worked to NOT get pregnant. I used to make OH use condoms for a week if I was 20 minutes late with my pill
Could you plan non bd activities around ov that MAY naturally lead to bding but without the pressure that it has to? Like getting your OH to give you a massage or having a nice relaxing bath together? If you do it in the evening before bed then if you don't feel like bding at least you should have a lovely sleep and maybe get a quickie in when you wake up
I'd tell you not to stress and relax more but find it hard enough to do that myself so will keep quiet about that! I do find doing generally positive things like changing my diet and going to yoga help me feel good about myself and like I'm doing something productive so at least I'm making some progress ikwim. xxx0 -
I've been taking this Chinese medicinal tea for about 8 weeks now. It goes by how your tongue look and your pulse.
My tongue was swollen and generally not good looking, but within 2 weeks (after a week in the UK) it improved to really good looking tongue:cool:
Now that I'm back to Singapore it's gone back to being ugly and swollen:( Hope it's just the UTI or antibiotics and not the climate. It's so hot here:o
We moved here one month after we re-started TTC, hope the climate is not affecting TTC:shocked:0 -
Firstly huge congrats Mishka - is it sinking in yet?
Thanks for the temp resonses QQ and Emsbet, I'll take QQs answer if you don't mind - it lets me live in fantasy land a bit longer! So sweet saying you don't want me to get AF QQ - it almost sounds like a new disease like when you got scanned at the airports for avian flu! I didn't actually move between temps - DH just stuck the thermometer in my mouth while I was still in bed when the alarm first went off but I'd been in and out of sleep all night so the alarm woke me for once - he's such a loving hubby usually I don't wake up till the thermometer bleeps and wants reading and I wonder how it got there!!! Guess if I was that unsettled I'm out anyway. Although Saturday I did get a 37.06 which I discarded as being ludicrously high and it was a bit later than usual (but I did go to bed later too).
Sorry AF got you Scarly - and after all that company you rounded up for the testing list too.
Following on from my earlier temp query I realised FF expects AF Thursday, which would be a 30 day cycle - which I've never had in my life except for the first 3 months of being on the implant. So I think I'm due tomorrow, which would be 28 days as is my norm (although last month was short at 26), it would also give me an 11 day luteal same as last month (I read this part of a womans cycle tends to be the most regular even if the follicular phase can alter wildly), and it would tie in if my temp did drop this morning, but no AF cramps yet (although half the time I only get them about 12 hours before, and I ALWAYS come on in the morning, I'll see what this evening brings).
I am fairly sure this month isn't happening for us, just a gut feeling, but after speaking to mum last night I can't help praying it does happen soon. My grandad lost his wife of 50 years in January, and since then he's lost his way a bit, no idea what to do with himself, even given up on the activities he was doing, says at his age there is nothing left to look forward to, basically he's depressed and giving up. Maybe it's nieve but I just feel like maybe if he was going to be a great-grandad that might give him something to hope for, at the moment he says all he's got to stick around for is his first appointment about a knee operation in December 2012!
PMA for the day - it's only 8 working days till I go on holiday, I'm having my grandad over for tea today and it'll be nice to see him, it's stopped raining and is sunny even if only for a little while, I'm blessed with a lovely hubby who took good care of me yesterday when I thought I was near dying from a freak but very powerful 6 hour throat infection, I made £15 on a mystery shop on the way in to work, I have a whole box of cherries with my lunch as Tesco had them reduced from £4 to 50p.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions....I am away this weekend so will go for Monday 25th July as my first testing if AF not here beforehand! She probably will be but I wont get upset about it.....first month after all xxx0

I dont chart my temps as I have only just come off my pil and thought i'd try and be laid back about it all for a few months before i go down that road. 14 days on i'm driving myself insane. :wall:
How am I supposed to keep myself sane?!?
Welcome! I thought I'd be laid back too, think it's the uncertainty that drives me mad. I'm used to being in control but my body will concieve when it's good and ready and not before
A good way to send yourself loopy pretty quickly is to spend all your time googling ttc tips and pregnancy symptoms! DON'T DO IT
Good luck!0 -
Firstly huge congrats Mishka - is it sinking in yet?
Thanks
Not sunk in at all yet, mainly as I dont feel any different than when AF is due !
Hubby keeps blowing from excited to sheer panic, one minute he is throwing baby names at me - the next he is storming about the house ranting about the carp everywhere and we have no room for a third :rotfl: poor boy has got another 8 months to go yet !
Hope you all have better weather than we do here ! miserable old dayBow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

That's ok! If I'm honest I'd do the same!Following on from my earlier temp query I realised FF expects AF Thursday, which would be a 30 day cycle - which I've never had in my life except for the first 3 months of being on the implant. In the settings for FF you can change your cycle length - it could be that it's set to 30 days instead of 28.
Hope te witch stays away

I stopped taking my pill on the 4th July and am driving myself up the wall by ss everything in my body.I know but its subconciously happening.
I had no AF when on the pill and as soon as I came off it I had ewcm, I spotted on friday and thought AF was on its way but then nothing spotted a tiny bit last night but then again nothing since. Ive had a few mild cramps on one side but nothing since.

Hi!
My first cycle coming off the pill was 73 days but it looks like this cycle will be more like 42ish. It takes time so dont beat yourself up about it!
