Hmmmm.... maybe  Remind me again, does one get ov pain just prior to ov or is it after? I can't recall.... if it's after then I guess maybe 2DPO sounds more likely. I had a lot of pain last night - it was really quite uncomfortable
It can be either before, during or after:p

Love Never Dies in London (Phantom of the Opera sequel) it was v. good, I cried :) That's where the great weekend ended though.
I'd love to see that, I've seen the original Phantom twice in London:happyhear
What's this I hear about closing it soon?:(
Sooo... QQ can you remove me from the testing list? AF just started, I'm now CD1.

PMA - at least my cycle is pretty much back to normal, and I will have a glass of wine this eve, and maybe some brie/goats cheese. So it's not all bad even if I am disappointed. :o
Good PMA:T Next month will be it:j

I've had a lovely couple of days with my lil sis and my mum. Had some cheeky birthday cake and went to see Love Never Dies in London (Phantom of the Opera sequel) it was v. good, I cried :) That's where the great weekend ended though.

Sounds like you had a lovely time. Was it your birthday?

    :rotfl::rotfl:Don't know why I asked. :p:p

I think I'll just have to wait and see how my temps pan out as I got positive OPKS Friday and yesterday (and yesterday's was darker) but my temp seem to suggest ov Thursday or Friday..... Hey ho, as long as I've ov'd that's all that matters right now.

We've BD'd as much as we can. Was thinking of maybe DTD again today but I think if there are not enough little swimmers in there now there never will be! :p Also I'm very tired after all the times we did it this week - 7 times in one week, my DH thinks all his birthdays and christmases have come at once! ;)

    Hello all

Thought I would check in and say hello

I am CD 39 for me and 10 DPO

And just realised have run out of preg tests  so going to have to buy some quick.

Just wondering when best to test... always guessed in the past. This month however used OPK so things are more definite and scared to test :o

off to amazon to buy some tests .. would appreciate views on testing :)
Goal - We want to be mortgages free :j

It's best to test on the day AF is due. If you don't know when this is then 14DPO is about the right time to test

Waaaaaaaaaay too much sugar in pavalova!:naughty:
Had blackerries sat in my fridge for past week. Just can't bring myself to eat them. I terrible with fruit. But i'm really good with salad/veg.
I've found the blackberries we've had this year quite bitter, so tended to leave those for DH. I'm better with fruit, don't mind various veg, but can't stand them raw, or salads.

Depends how down in the dumps you're likely to get if you get a BFN...if you're the type to take it in your stride and remember that it ain't over til AF arrives, then the biggest concern about testing "too soon" is that it could be a chemical (and you'll be more disappointed later) or something could happen very early on, before anyone would "normally" test...iyswim?:o Ideally one should wait til AF is due/overdue...

DTD earlier and 2 things DH said made me laugh...one was about how he would "be back again in 36hrs" - as apparently he's read this morning (while I was asleep) that that's the ideal frequency ;) - the other was about how he also read about how to make better swimmers, going on to say (after quoting some motility etc stats) that he doesn't want them to be lazy and slow, he wants them to be fast, and "attack that eggy like ninjas"!smiley-character0022.gif :rotfl:

I think it all depends on your sanity :rotfl: if you can handle seeing that big fat negative appear day after day then 10 dpo onwards !

I would say if you can bare the wait (and have more willpower than me ;)) test from 14 or 15 dpo as you will stand a chance of having a more accurate result,

It takes between 6-10 days for a fertilized egg to implant, the egg then starts to release the hcg hormone which doubles roughly every 24/48 hours. If you are certain when you ovulated and conceived I would work ten days forward from that as a minimum.

Hope that makes sense, im distracted by the Apprentice at the moment !

    yay for the bfp :j

    hugs NYNS

    welcome all newbies

muchos confused at the moment - CD23 of usually 28-32ish day cycles and have a little bleeding so think tomorrow will be CD1:undecided..no idea whats going on with my body, also think (sorry for tmi) I've got a bit of thrush!

Not posted properly in ages as I've getting a bit fed up with it all - went to docs a few months ago for day21 bloods - rang for results and told all ok...fast forward a few months, back to docs, actually results aren't normal:angry:thanks for that!!! Had them again this month, but as such a short cycle, not sure what it will show. On a positive note, DH had SA and all ok:)

Hope everyone is keeping their chins up

Anyone seen new Harry Potter yet? can't wait
