So have you been told you do have insulin resistance? Since seeing the polycystic ovaries on the scan I asked for a GTT (Glucose Tolerance Test) to check for insulin resistance and they found that I do have Impaired Glucose Tolerance. My GP basically didn't want to do anything about it, but the Gynae put me straight on Metformin (which seems to be doing a pretty good job so far), so I guess my point is, if the GP isn't prepared to try something you want to try, you can ask to see a gynae or get a second opinion :)

It was good. I've resisted sausages for a while! I've been dieting too, since finding out (with a couple of weeks off for good behaviour ;)) and have managed to lose 4 BMI points now :D

    Thanks. :)
Is it worth talking to your friend? Let her know that either you don't need her to walk on eggshells around her/will let her know when it's to emotional for you/that you still want to be there for her/whatever you're wanting/hoping for? I suspect it's an issue of communication? :o

So are you under a fertility bod now? (sorry again, I feel like I'm asking loads of questions I should already know the answers too atm :o)

yes first appointment was last tuesday and now its all systems go i think

    Evening all,

Congratulations to emmylou!!! Have a wonderful pregnancy.

No real news hear, as still waiting for my peak.

Yes I watched the US version last night Rebekah - I thought it was quite good but it isn't as funny as the UK version.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

You don't look odd (not that I can see you, I'm not sat outside your house or anything...), you're just doing the *very* important job of breaking in the shoes!! I love Irregular Choice shoes, which ones have you got?

Winchester. There was mention on website of building a second active birth centre unit like the one in Andover but attached to the side of the hospital. Don't know if its started yet but I want to get in there. Would like the comfort of being in the hospital but with the homely rooms to birth naturally.
