Hello everyone, hope you're all ok. ((hugs)) charlie, hope you're keeping your chin up and feel better for all the great advice these lovely ladies have given you today! :)

Thanks for all the kind wishes re my FIL. He is out of intensive care and apparently today the physio got him out of bed and sitting in a chair, which is great. (Can't remember if I said, but he had to have his bowel removed  )

I think my DH will be home tomorrow evening, which I'm pleased about because I miss him :)

Wow, brilliant news about your FIL! I hope your DH is home soon :)

Thanks BB, everyone is fab on here. You can all have a virtual hug :D hehe

Just a warning - you may want to discuss the use of mebeverine with your doc...afaik preggo folk aren't supposed to take it, and my own doc said it's (ideally) a no-no when TTC too :o

Thanks :o It's a trial, but it's been a few years now so I know more where my limitations are now, so it's a bit easier than it was :) And DH is my very own superhero :A He met me when I was already ill (but not yet diagnosed) and still fell in love with me :A:kisses2::smileyhea

I alternate the word "broken" with "faulty" sometimes too ;):shhh:

Thankfully DH isn't interested in sports other than MMA, but he is on a health and fitness kick atm (which is good, and the results are telling) so I've lost him to a run (in the rain!) and the punch bag so far tonight, and now to the shower :p

Welcome back tinkwings :) You feeling any better about it all?

My doctor said it's safe, but she also didn't tell me the Norethistone (i know that's spelt completely wrong) to regulate my period was harmful if you got preg. I'll be having words Tuesday . I've been cutting done on the mebeverine anway.

Your DH sounds lovely. I often think mine must be sick of me by now and all my ailments, but he is brill and always looks after me :)

    I'm getting bits of footie....then a bit of F1...back to the footie...lol

    Edit- So sorry Colli x

Hello all, I'm going to be back here again. Our little bean wasn't meant to be:(. I had an emergency scan last week due to severe pain they thought could be an ectopic. It wasn't but the pregnancy was only showing as about 5 weeks when I knew I should be 9 :(.

I'm booked in for another scan next week to check the "viability of the pregnancy" but have started to bleed quite a lot today so I don't think it's necessary (I didn't think so in the first place as with OH being on the other side of the world for the past month 5 weeks just wasn't possible).

Good news is OH is back home now (welcome home, your wife's in A&E:o) and he doesn't have to go back so we can start to try again.

Anyhoo, can someone get a BFP to cheer me up please?:)
:( Sorry to hear that Colli :(:(

    Can't oblige you with a BFP just yet either... :o Useless, aren't I? :p

I've only taken it the once or twice. With me being home 95% of the time it's not such a massive problem if the IBS strikes, but when I'm out I always have it with me :o

    Ditto. What ails thee lass?

BB Glad to hear FIL is on the mend :)

Emsbet- How are you feeling today? You are coping so well, I know I wouldn't x

I'm ok Charlie, thanks for asking. I've been feeling teary today mostly because I'm just fed up of waiting. I really don't think I'm pregnant anymore so I feel a bit like I'm wasting people's time but DH says I should go for the scan so we know for definite either way. I just worry he's getting his hopes up and I don't want to let him down again. It is hard not to let you imagination run away with you. Every so often a little thought enters my mind that maybe my bean has stayed sticky but I have to shut it out straight away otherwise I will go crazy.

Listen to me going on! :o I'm going to stop whining now! There are so many people who have gone/are going through so much worse. I'm really lucky - I have a fabulous, supportive husband and wonderful family and friends! We have only been at this TTC for a few months and I guess if it doesn't work out this time at least I know that I can get pregnant and it should just be a matter of time! :)

Sorry for the rambling ladies :o

Thanks for that 2ba3c - I like the line about buying clothes - it's put me off buying any more summer clothes, as I'm thinking in terms of possibly only being able to wear them for a few months - very MSE.

Sending hugs your way too emsbet.

I'd say go for the scan, I wish I'd insisted on an early one when I suspected all wasn't right and found out sooner. You're not letting anyone down and you'll be wondering anyway until it's confirmed one way or the other. Good Luck and take care :)
