Yay! Glad your dad's op went well QQ. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.
Not much to report here, other than BD last night and I've finally finished my maths plan for the first full week in my new job! It's only taken me 2 days to do it!!! Just hope it's not too difficult for them or too easy. Will send it to my colleague so that he can check it over for me. Now, I've just got to source or make the resources, and do the literacy plan!Definitely don't think full time teaching is for me.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

Welcome back QQ, good to hear the op went ok.
I'm predicting [STRIKE]4 bfps [/STRIKE] 6 bfp's (going to be more optimistic!) for June!!Sealed Pot Challenge Member #8810 -
Well I had my dreaded Doctors appointment this morning - internal examination and smear (first time ever).
As embarrassing as the appointment was I made it worse by crying - I'd got myself into such a state so couple that with crazy hormones it was never going to go well. My Doctor was really lovely about it though.
So at least that's all over and done however I now have equally enjoyable things to look forward to - NOT. She's referred me for an internal scan (joy) and once I've had a certain blood test done she's going to refer me for some procedure where they check to see if your tubes are blocked (oh joy of all joys). Anyway, I'm not going to stress about that until it happens.
It appears there was a bit of confusion about when to get my blood tests done at the last appointment and I still need to get them done. I need a CD22 and CD25 test (will ask a question about this in a minute) and another blood test when I start bleeding again (and if it gets to CD42 without me having had another period she will reassess when to get this one done).
Now having had very infrequent and sporadic periods I have never charted my cycle. The period that the Metformin kick started has been my first period since TTC. Going by Quavers list (which is very helpful) I'm CD18. Now here's my question about when to go and get my CD22 and CD25 blood tests done......
Doc has put down 6th and 9th which will be CD24 and CD27. Should I go on 3rd (CD21) and 7th (CD25)?
Now a bit of a silly question. I started my period on a Saturday - about 11pm before going to bed. It didn't come into full swing until the next morning. So dod I count the Saturday or the Sunday as CD1. QQ has counted the Saturday as CD1 which makes me CD18 today.
P.S. I'm so sorry that my message is such a jargled mess.0 -

Aw, bless ya. Have a creepy group hug on me :grouphug:Doc has put down 6th and 9th which will be CD24 and CD27. Should I go on 3rd (CD21) and 7th (CD25)?

Do you know why did the doctor put those dates instead of 3rd and 7th?
CD1 is the first day where you have full red flow and not just spotting.

Never heard of CD22 & 25 test, only CD3 & CD21:huh:
The Day 21 test should be done at 7DPO because it is to check if you ov'd OK or not. Do you know when you ov'd?
As for CD3, it is to check all your hormones. It's sometimes done at CD2.
If you think you are a late ovulator, then it's better to go as late as possible:o
If you go before ov, then the blood test will say you haven't ov'd:o0
