    Hi all,

As promised QQ I am posting to let you know I got my tlp today (well 2 of them, DH wanted to be there but I couldn't wait!) - I am waiting to take my clear blue tomorrow morning when I have a more concentrated wee.

I didn't do anything different this month, in fact I did less. I did not temp but I did monitor EWCM and BD every other day around that time (not every day as I read somewhere that little swimmers don't swim as good if they don't have time to recover :rotfl:) I did count my lp though which is the time between ovulation and AF (this should not change by much per month).

I am an overweight lady whose bmi is around 35 so my weight issue hasn't affected me. I haven't had any symptoms other than feeling sick and horrible tummy ache (crossed between wind and period pain). I only rested my body for about 5 minutes after BD to my side when I got ovulation pain

Hope you all get your BPF soon and have fun BD.

    Busybee x

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :j:j:j:j:T:T:T:T

    Busybee. Congrats on the TLP!

Mrs Dave. Don't give up hope. A chance is still a chance and you still obviously want a child. Don't give up hope. :)

Thanks for the comments on the cake. DH thinks I should make them to sell too so I'm going to practice doing different styles and see how it goes. It would be a good way of making a bit of cash of my own if I don't go back to work once we have a baby!!! That cake would have cost me £1500 if I had it made by the designer who's design I adapted!!! I did it for £200 but obviously the time involved is where the price comes from.....it took me 6 months although I was working full time too!!

So, CD 28 here but who knows what length my cycle should be now I'm off the pill!! I don't feel like AF is on her way anytime soon though, when on the pill she'd have been arriving tommorrow.
You definitely should start selling cakes!:j
    CD28? Fingers crossed:)

AF has arrived for me today, I knew it was on its way when I got the pains 4 days before so no surprise but still a bit gutting.

I have done a bit of nosing and it seems my chances are 1-2% per cycle which was an eye opener, didn't realise it would be so low.

This has got me thinking, should we keep trying as it's still a possibility or knock it on the head. even as things stand now, I'll be 44 if I catch and with every month that passes I'm getting older and my eggies are poorer quality.
I'd keep trying. We have less chance as we have less good eggs, but there are still in there waiting. It just takes longer as we only release one egg every month:o

Just make sure you are timing it right every month ready for that golden eggy:cool:

I'm feeling a bit confused. I had a faint line on my opk Sunday lunchtime which got darker when I tested again later in the day (although still not as dark as the control line). Yesterday when I tested I had the same- dark but not as dark as the control line. Today I tested and there's nothing now. What does this mean? I think I didn't go to the loo for three hours but did forget and have a drink- could this have affected the result? I have also had to go to the loo a lot today- would this affect it?
Sorry if I'm being a pain asking lots of silly questions :o
Having a drink will affect it, but I'd say you got +opk late Sunday, so you should've ov'd somewhere between Monday morning - Tuesday night:) Egg lives for about 24hrs after that.

I didn't think that the hormone the OPKs detect was that short living - I had it in my head that it is still produced after ov and continues if pg for a short while? Maybe I made that up - been reading so much it's hard to remember what's what sometimes! :o
No, some people have short spike lasting just hours, and others have a longer one. In any case it'll wane soon after.

I am due my AF on Thursday, took another test this morning (yes, i am obsessed) and it was a BFN
You could've ov'd late, hang in there:)

Oh MrsExcited, I’m so sorry. Big hugs to you and your hubby. It’s a sad reminder that a BFP is just the beginning of a long road :(
    :(
No gym for me today...plus went out for a 3-course meal at lunchtime...! Nice though :D (gym tomorrow)
Good luck at the gym today:p

Perhaps doing less did the trick!:j
