    Hi all!
Just a quick one as nothing much to report here CD 13 today, OH's still waiting on his sperm results-could be another 2 weeks, and my 21 days bloods are being done next week so we're just kind of plodding along. Trying to book into a nice hotel for a weekend soon just to get away from everthing.

Hi darkphaery  Nice one RE the hotel - just have a lovely couple of days relaxing and enjoying each other without obsessing about baby-making :)

I don't think I've ovulated over the last few months. I've not once seen a single peak on the cbfm. I've assumed it was down to my erratic cycles (anything between 30 and 80 days), so it was always going to be a problem with the monitor trying to hit the right days. Just waiting for my referral now to the fertility unit. I don't think I'm ovulating at all. :(

((hugs)) Try not to panic twigppig :o hopefully your referral will come soon but hopefully you won't need it :)

DH wants to try traditional Chinese medicine, and I've found a doctor, and he phoned him. The Doctor said it could be stress, and Chinese medicine can be good for that:)

DH said he is the type who usually get stressed up (I knew that:p), but said he thinks I (me, QQ) am stress free, and copes well and don't have TTC anxiety  Is that how I come across?

We can't do IVF for few months anyway, so Chinese medicine sounds good. I don't really believe in it, but I'm up for anything exciting:j

I think with alternative medicines/therapies, you have to try to be open minded about them...I struggle a bit as I'm such a logical person, but now that acupuncture is available on the NHS I have to accept that there is scientific evidence that it works! :rotfl:

RE stress, I think that on the whole there are three types of people - those who genuinely don't often get stressed, everything just washes over them (rare!). Then there are those who get visibly stressed, often quite easily, and vocalise their stress. Then there are people like me (and by the sounds of it, you!), who on the surface appear to be fairly cool and collected, and often even believe that they're not too stressed, but whose stress sometimes manifests itself physically.

I get REALLY bad cold sores when I'm stressed :o

Rebekah - sorry to hear about your family ruck ((hugs)) If I was in your situation I would probably try to act completely normally, as if nothing had happened, and hope that they'd come round eventually. (I would apologise first, and possibly say that's it, I've apologised, now get over it! or something to that effect!) Hope it sorts itself out soon, try not to stress.

Well CD19 and no sign of ov :o
Have had quite painful cramps and twinges on both sides and centrally in my lower tummy all day and it's starting to wear me down now! Still no EWCM - not dry but not watery/creamy or EW! No idea. I'm starting to wonder if I've got the start of a kidney infection or something, as I've been peeing all day too... but I've never had one before so no idea what to expect! oh well, whatever! :o

I went to the gym this evening :A
Anyone else been a good girl...?! :p

Why did I read this as you got within a 100 foot tree to read this thread?!?

That made me cry with laughter....DH now thinks I'm mental!!!

Well girlies, I'm back from honeymoon! The wedding was FABULOUS and the honeymoon was pretty good and VERY relaxing! Oh and lots od BDing of course!!! I'm on CD27 now but have no idea if I OV'd as I forgot to pack the OPKs! I also have no idea when AF is due as this is my first month off the pill so no idea of cycle length. I may be slightly guilty of SSing though....I just feel different, a bit odd and a bit yukky but I'm tired and my digestive system doesn't like the travelling and different food so tummy is a bit sensitive from that still!!

QQ, so sorry to hear the IVF didn't work this time but glad you're being positive and making plans for what to try next. Fingers crossed xx.

I promised a pic of the wedding cake I made so I'll try it now:

    Hope that works!!!

I think that you naturally keep a lid on how much it affects you (whether just on here or IRL too) especially as - I get the impression - you don't want to put too much pressure on your DH, esp with the once a week BD thing, and that that might make you appear cooler about it all than you feel?

That's my impression anyway, I could be wrong ;):o
The thing about DH is so true. One can't make a baby by myself (though it'll be a lot more efficient:cool:).
I've been offered a last minute appointment (far away!) to have my kidney scan tomorrow. Not looking forward to it, not because I particularly think they'll find anything terrifying on it, but because my bladder and kidneys are already pretty sore and sensitive, and I've got to have a full bladder for it, and the last one I had I didn't have to have a full bladder for and it still hurt (they really dig in!)...
I hate scans with full bladders:o
Especially when the scans are not on time_pale_
Good luck, and hope they find a cure:)

That sounds like me, well I hope that's the reason for not getting that BFP and not something else:o

hey ladies, hope everyones ok. been lurking but now need some help.

Got another long cycle here but i dont know whats going on!!

OPKs have never been as dark as the control line but it was darker than all the others i been doing sometime last week (cant remember what day thou as i presumed it was negative - still might be mind!)

Anyway, i think i did ovulate when my chart says i did but i have missed my temp for 2 days this week (sun and mon due to a wedding and purely forgetting) anyhow, i done it this morning and it was back down again? also got an abundance of creamy lotion like CM. its not stretchy so im ruling out eggwhite cm.

got some AF liek cramps and twinges on and off over the last weekish since i think i ovulated. any thoughts? do u think ihavent ovulated yet or i have as the chart says? OPK last night was practically non existant! almost no line at all!
Current Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).

Good morning all! Dash in and out as usual!

Lisa what an amazing cake! and you made it yourself? I'm glad you had an amazing wedding and I hope you and your husband have a long and fruitful marriage.

QQ - I strongly admire your resilience.

Rebekah - Not to worry you, but you are aware that the situation with your sister sounds like her other half is controlling her? I personally would ignore the behaviour and maybe not go too far out of my way to get in touch with her, but endeavour to ensure that she knows my door is always open to her. He sounds pathetic.

Anyway, love and kisses from Pralines.x
    :rotfl:

p.s Mr Pralines and I watched the Human body thingy last night (TV in my house is recorded and watched much later), Mr Pralines made me laugh at the sperm analysis bit... He just suddenly started staring at his balls without saying anything.... Even the cat had a look after a while (in a what are you staring at way). He did say that he is amazed that the human species has managed to reproduce itself at all - apparently Apple do not have an app that tells you how complex it is to get preggers.

Oh and hugs for Rebekah. It's easy for me to say, but where family is concerned you really have to let it go sometimes.... 'each to their own' used to be my mantra.... as long as they know you are there for them in times of need do not sweat it as everyone will upset everyone sometime.

It's sad for you, but really - try not to worry about it. I wouldn't even bother discuss it with your sister. She will get over it.

Your temps doesn't look very good, it's so up and down:o You may not have ov'd yet, but are gearing up to ov soon. Get BDing just in case:j
