Morning ladies. Feeling better today. Back to trying to leave it be. Nowt I can do bout it so no point worrying.

Praline you don't know how true you are about him being controlling. In an abusing way I would say. It is not a you will not do that but a you can do that and I will punish you for it ... to the extent that if she showed little man to mum he would kick her out. And yet he says to us she has her own mind and doesn't want mum to see him either. Knowing sis and how she doesnt like mum she would still let her see little man. Even if it was just once in a while for 20 mins or something. She knows everyone disagrees with this but I think he just likes causing problems. He only mum a handful of times before her decided he "didn't want someone like that" in his kids life. Now he has cut hubby off I have decided I don't need him like that in my life lol. Hence why I haven't made up with him over it all. He hasn't forgiven hubby and won't as he loves grudges and I don't want to be the go between. I will always stick by hubby. He needs to learn and I just need to be there for sis when/if it all goes boobs up. He already said he only got with her to have a baby as it was his last chance. Waaaaaaaaah you started me off again lol.

Rebekah - that is a sign of domestic violence (not necessarily physical of course), but you cannot break someone down without isolating them from their strength (family, confidence etc). I have dealt with many people who have been victims of mental and emotional abuse – it takes a while for them to recognise it. Especially when they are desperate to have a 'perfect family life'. Luckily the children are usually worshipped until they stop becoming ‘cute’. So they generally do not suffer.

My advice to you would still be as above. Maybe send an email/text every now and again to say hi (even if you see her otherwise) so that covert communication lines are kept open.

No point in forcing the issue as your sister will most likely side with him and he would have got what he wanted.

It never ceases to amaze me as to what people put up with, e.g being in a relationship where moodiness exists as a control feature (I'd better not go out tonight or s/he will be mardy tomorrow).

QQ - You are so right. Makes me think that we are all here for a purpose as it was so challenging for it to happen. *wonders if she is fulfilling her destiny wholesomely*

    Afternoon Everyone,

Sorry to have been on the missing list for the last few days, had a mare of a weekend :(

Little sis came off her motorbike so many hours were spent in the local hospital and then there was the palaver of getting her, her DH and their bikes back to their home. Thankfully she was wearing the full kit so has walked away from the accident with a broken thumb, twisted ankle and lots of bruising.

My DH was a star as usual, keeping me calm and helping me run about sorting things out.

On the PG front, well. I think I am due to ovulate this week, DH is on late shifts so is "booked" for BD tonight, tomorrow and Friday. He had earmarked last night but we were still so shattered from Sunday and the accident to get up to anything.

We've also booked our wedding present from my company - a night away at a swish hotel for the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend. Just realised though, that AF would be due then so his swimmers have even more responsibility this week :p

QQ, Glad to hear your Papa is on the mend, but sorry to hear the IVF did not work this time around. I hope it does next time!

Hope everyone else on here is well and working hard on their homework ;)

    SBD and hugs!
    Icey xx

    Hey all :)
I`ve been good, been to the gym this morning, and cut the hedge in the front garden! Go me!!!
Cd 27 here, last month was a 26 day cycle, and before that i`ve always been 28days. So, again, not sure what is going on! Have AF cramps this month, but last month had nothing at all. If its coming, then i`d rather it just got on with it as if i do have my operation next week, i really dont want Af hanging around :/
Lisa...that cake is amazing! If you dont already, then you really should think about making some cakes to sell!
Icey, glad your sis is ok xx
have a good day everyone! xx

Gee all I can think about is having a baby! Day noon and night! Just got out the shower - lots of dreaming. There I was in the shower with my new born on the floor in the bathroom watching me ... most likely screaming for the next feed! LOL. I need help ... Now it's getting closer the desire and excitement has really racked up as has the nerves.
