I'm in a really good mood this morning, despite the shower incident, which I actually found very funny! lol. If AF was due in the next couple of days, I wouldn't be this cheery I'm sure! lolcleomolly - this is the first time I'm taking soy. Do you mind if I ask about your experience with it? When did you start taking it, on what days, how much, and what did you like about it? I'm just wondering as it's a new concept to me
I decided to try it as I don't ovulate every month and I want to see if I do when taking it. I do have short cycles, though so not sure whether it will work, or not. Thanks x

not at allI used it after a 88 day cycle, 120mg CD3,4&5 and 160mg CD6&7. Found it gave me lots of EWCM and ov CD21. Also got my BFP that cycle at 9DPO. If this makes sense looking at my charts they all follow the same pattern around CD21 which indicates ov but I always ov'd later, its as if my natural cycle is to ov around then but I don't for one reason or another! can't wait to get this cycle over to try it again
Thanks. If there's still no sign of AF when I get home I will test.
xx

I don't know. Last hcg shot is at 9DPO, I need to test few days later to see if I get a negative first, otherwise there's no way of knowing if the +hpt is from the shot or the real thing:( Blood pg test is at 17DPO
I hope you're keeping busy and the time goes quick :cool:Que Sera, Sera0 -

Thanks cleo. I was a bit unsure about taking it because my cycles are short but, I still have ov problems so, hopefully they will help! I'm taking 80mg CD 3-6 and 120mg tonight (CD7). I'm hopeful that I will still ov on day 10 but not sure what affect the soy will have...
emsbet - good luck :cool:Que Sera, Sera0 -
GemmaE - some people can be so rude... I would have drop-kicked them too (someone else said this and I liked the idea
)
mrsvicx - Good luck!!!
praline - I know not everyone agrees but, I personally don't worry about the drinking side of things. I am not an alcoholic and I do not drink daily but, I don't stop myself drinking at social occassions on weekends. Obviously, if I was going out around the time of AF being due, I would test first.
Alwaysthebusybee - hope you ov'd!
GreenerGrass - Woohoo!! Well done on the weight loss hun!!! :j
fannyanna - good luck for sunday!
QQ - hope you're keeping yourself busy and that the shots, etc aren't making you feel yuk. Are you planning to test at 15DPO?
Icey77 - I don't use OPK's but, I do track my temperature with a BBT thermometer. Wikipedia give a good explanation on how BBT works: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basal_body_temperature
Basically, you have to take your temp at the same time everyday and it must be as soon as you wake up. My alarm goes off, I turn it off and pick up the thermometer, turn it on and pop it in my mouth. After, I snooze for a bit longer and eventually when I wake up, I turn the thermometer back on and it flashes up with the last temperature taken.

Icey: I hope the witch stays away and you are one of the annoying luck ones!
QQuaver: ((hugs))
Praline: I think as long as you don't go OTT with the drinking you should be fine.
Smash: Thanks for th information re: thermometer -I've ordered one but had no idea how to use it! :rotfl:
Well still no sign of AF not sure what's she's playing at!
I've been feeling sick most of the day so I hope I don't have a bug comingIt's probably just psychological because today is the first day back at work and I really didn't want to come in!

Well did a test and BFN! I can't say I'm surprised but I am a little disappointed.
Oh well, I just wish AF would hurry along and I wish I could stop obsessing about it! I know I'm just making it worse thinking about it all the time!

Good Evening all!
Thanks for all the hugs and kindthoughts, heres to a week that can now only get better!!
Cleomolly- I know it sucks, weightloss is just horrible, have only been able to do it with weightwatchers, I can't do it by myself as I have no willpower!
Euronorris- Glad shower was sorted out, what a rude awakening!
Praline- u r so funny, i love the way you put things!
mrsvicx- glad u enjoyed the school run, Hays are always sending us loads of info (I work in HR too) so hopefully they will be able to get you something ASAP,
Greenergrass- phenomenal weightloss! It took me 10 weeks to lose that! Well done u
Fannyanna- 1st BFN was the worst for me, although to be fair only trying since last month, but cycle all over the place so done a couple of extras fully expecting BFN.
QQ- I will also blame it on the dress! Hope u r OK and can get your BFP very very soon
Smash- wish I had thought of the drop kick, rather than smiling sweetly at her until she left, mind u i still have her new payroll info on my desk so could withhold it as punishment:rotfl:
Emsbet- You never know, hopefully it is still too early.
Think I will treat myself to a cup of tea, been very thirsty all day and had a marathan 3 hour meeting this afternoon discussing HR admin software and tracking and a H&S briefing this morning so feeling knackered!
With regards to drinking, I am off to Gordon Ramseys in Chelsea on Friday (special Xmas treat for OH and me) and fully intend to have at least 1/2 a bottle of wine there, and maybe some more drinks after. From experience, although I know everyone is different, my body made me not want to drink last time was PG before I knew was PG (I am one of those women who didnt find out til 9 weeks, thought I had a wter infection:o) and just couldn't face it, also made me stop smoking and made me need cat naps during the day, which I never ever do.
Can I add my guess for May as 9 (sticking with it as you do with your lottery numbers!). My biggest dream for this forum though is to have no posts and just virtual tumbleweed going across the screen with us all on the PG threads instead!!

Oooh can I join the guessing too. I'm going to go with a slightly more reserved 7. Would love to be one of those although I'm not getting my hopes up! Ok, I lie - I am (as I simply can't help myself)0 -
Emsbet- You never know, hopefully it is still too early.
I think I'm out this month. Being having AF symptoms on and off for about a week now and since I tested I've been having quite strong cramps so I think AF is well on her way (fingers crossed so we can get going again!)Next time x
Hopefully. At least my opks and thermometer should be here this week and I can at least find out if I'm ov-ing and when that might be.

hugs to gemma, i am currently trying to lose weight however my thyroid meds make it slightly more difficult but i'm working on it! well i am off on a hen night this weekend and i will not be worrying about what i drink, i tend to have something to drink most weekends but generally a glass or bottle of beer nothing much. i figured that i cant change my life completely upside down for this because i will focus on ttc and not relax and it wont happen!
however does anyone feel like we are constantly surrounded by babies on tv atm???? grrrr!Crafting for 2009 items doneOne patchwork blanket, two neck supports, one tea cosy, one knitted bunny, one knitted egg!0
