Gemma - some people are stupid. I can't believe they said that - would have drop kicked them (and then ran off crying :rotfl:). Hugs to you x

I've decided that I'm going to test on Sunday. Really not expecting a positive (as it would just be too good to be true) but at the same time I'm really wishing (so is Hubby). So I think I'll be quite down when I see the BFN.

How on earth do you ladies do this every month???

Susan - I wasn't thinking in the same way as you for the 4 month dunce cap (as in dunce cap because person didn't realise they were pregnant). Sorry if I seemed insensitive I wasn't thinking preferring it due to not feeling ill. I was thinking preferring it so I don't panic about having a baby full stop.
No, not insensitive at all - it's fine to have different reasons for thinking it might be nice to not know for ages. It would be boring if we were all the same. :)

Soy is working as my temp seems to have stayed low for two days. I just hope it makes me ov, and with a nice healthy egg :) Only time will tell!
    Exciting!:j
QQ - how are you feeling?
How I feel is irrelevant, as I'm taking various medications that gives pg symptoms including hcg shots:o My SS is all false, I can't even test early as my last hcg shot is at 9DPO:(

hmmm, not happy first person in to see me today at work asked when the babies due!!!! Surely I can't look PG, just when you are feeling OK and that you have lost a bit of weight some one comes along and makes you feel poo!

The stupid thing is I'm now within my ideal weight for the first time in ages. If I was PG it would be great but I don't want to look it if I'm not, hmph!
(((Hugs))), I had that once too, I was so mad, decided never to wear that dress anymore, and gave it to my sister:p It's not me, it's the dress:cool:

Had an interesting morning thanks to power cut whilst I was in the shower! Cue pitch blackness (no windows in our bathroom) and cold water (electric shower)!
    :rotfl:
Well, FF has now decided that I ov'd on Sat! I'm not convinced, but shall see. I hope she's wrong, otherwise AF is due on 13th, the first day of the convention! :(
Hope FF is wrong:o I think you ov'd on CD20.

I wish AF would hurry up and make an appearance as I'm fed up of waiting and feeling a bit meh!
    Hope AF won't arrive:o

I was CD1 from yesterday (period started yesterday... is that correct?) so let the May fun and games begin! I'm absolutely fine about it. My husband was a bit :o

When I get pregnant I may keep it a secret to see how long it takes him to symptom spot that. My money is on crowning stage!
I bet you can't keep it quiet:p And he'll notice you haven't had AF for a while;)
I was on the tube last week and a guy offered a woman a seat on a packed train. She looked baffled then mortified.
He was just being a gentleman:o
And QQ - I logged in briefly to get the update on you yesterday... I still have my fingers crossed and can cross my legs for the next four days now ;O) I am wishing all the very best for the implantation.
Thanks, according to the acupuncturist, implantation occurs around 6DPO:o

I wish it was too early - I would love to be one of those people who only discovers they're pregnant at four or five months.
I've heard about people discovering they are pg when they got into labour:cool:

Am I being irresponsible at present? Looking at my diary, this month there will be at least 3 occasions when I'll definately have a drink (say half a bottle of wine) while staying sober for the majority of the other social occasions booked so far.
A lot of people get pg while drunk and have perfectly healthy babies:o Just don't over do it too often:naughty:

A little tip for a sweet tooth, stick a banana, covered in choc powder, in the freezer and leave to set. Then you can pull it out and eat it very, very slowly :)
    Yum...

    Afternoon Ladies,

How are you all? Hope the return to work has been easy!

    Congrats to Mrs E!!! :j
Yay to QQ!!! You make sure to keep those eggies safe and warm! :j

I think I am out of the game for this run, I am fairly sure that AF is due in the next day or so. I'm feeling all crampy and generally a bit meh :o

I'm hoping she'll stay away for tomorrow as it's DH's birthday. No chance of a BD resulting in a BFP but it would be fun all the same ;)

My PMA is that when she does turn up I can count my cycle and think about ordering some OPKs and a thermometer whatsit ... could anyone explain how it works?

Like Emsbet, I don't think I'm pregnant but was kinda hoping. I was quietly hoping I could be one of those really irritating women that falls in the first month off the pill, but hey ho, perhaps this month.

Will provide a CD1 for the list when AF turns up :o

SBD and hugs all round, coupled with easter chocolate for those that fancy some :p

I don't know personally as it's more the retaining the baby after conceiving that seems to be my problem but I guess as with anything hard you just have to learn to live with it.

Don't know, I'll be depressed for a day, then usually recover next day. I blame it on my hormones:cool:

Can anyone recommend an ebay/amazon seller for the OPKs and a basal thermometer.

Also, what is the difference between a basal thermometer and a Boots Digital Thermometer that I already have?

    Thanks!
