Hello everyone :j wow u have all been busy! Congrats on all of the BFPs :T
I`m going to guess a nice big 10 for May (mainly as it has 31 days :rotfl: ) and what with all of the bank holidays, i`m guess there has been alot more Bd going on!
Nothing to report here, cd13 i think?
Off on holiday next week, so kinda glad i`m not preg, as i can drink now :D I have to admit, i was out the night before i found out i was preg with DD1, and think i may have still been a tad drunk when i tested  however, i didnt touch a drop ofter the BFP and she is now 8 and top of her class for English Maths and Science and also very good at sports and music! So dont think it harmed her at all :o .
I hope everyone is well and the Asda advert isnt bugging you all as much as it is me atm :( Sbdta, take care xx

Evening all. CD14 here (I think!!) and I think I may have a VERY faint line on my OPK! It's the first time there's been even a hint of anything on one so hopefully its not my imagination!!! Trouble is, OH is on night shifts so no BD last night or tonight but hopefully he might be tempted when he gets in tomorrow morning!!! Can't wait to test tomorrow now and see if I get a stronger line! Should I be testing twice a day now? I only have a few sticks left so I don't want to waste them!

We're having a nice meal tomorrow night to celebrate the last meal we'll have together before we're a married couple!!! We'll be having fillet steak with all the trimmings (1 steak between us, I bought them for valentines day but they were too big.... and cost £17 for 2!! so we shared lol!).

ANyway, enough about me! Big hugs to all who AF got and to those with BFNs. Oh and can I guess 8 for May please as its my favourrite number (saddo!!)

grrr grumpy now, hubby has to go on an emergency call out rota in the next year, the limit for this is 25 miles/45 minutes away, we have 4 or 5 people in our village on call out and they are querying if he lives in the limits!!! we are 22 miles away and 40 minutes at busy travel times. as he is likely to get called out at night etc traffic aint likely to be a problem!! yes its only a few miles but my petrol bill is massive at the mo anyway and we have just settled in here bought furniture/curtains etc. and i love where we live. his boss has said if they make us move he will push for us to be paid the £2k relocation but thats not the bl***y point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just popping on to say thanks to QQ and the others giving me advice the other day (TLP after mc)
I've waited 8 days and tested on CB digi and...... pg 3+ !!!! Yey! Can't believe it, was convinced it was leftover hormones!
Going to think about how happy I am tonight, then leave as long as poss without getting excited, looking at baby sites or posting on <12weeks. Don't want to build up the excitement as much as last time & have the upset I had, I don't actually believe I could survive that again!!

Thanks again those with advice & links (8days is a lont time on TTC part 6, too many pages to search!)

(also don't put me on any list as I'm a lurker really & don't want to steal an official TTC6's place on the graduation board!!)

Hello, CD6 and none of my usual signs of ov so I'm assuming/hoping last cycle was a freak one!
AF has departed so can get back on the case... :D
OMG GemmaE - how awful! Try not to dwell on it - in fact, maybe that person is feeling really awful about it themselves (I would!)

After eating far too much over the extended Easter break, I've been given a kick up the bum to actually lose some weight at last. I've been toying with it, messing around losing a couple of pounds and regaining them again, but this time I will actually do it! I'm not hugely overweight, but I'd like to lose a stone, if possible. It's going to take a while, and hopefully I'll get pg in the meantime! :) Started off with a knackering workout at the gym tonight! :D

As for drinking whilst TTC, I'd say that there's not much wrong with having a few drinks now and then. I wouldn't want to drink too much, or too often, but then that's not exactly good for you anytime, regardless of TTC! Personally I've been drinking less than normal, but still having the odd glass of wine when I fancy it. Not enough to feel drunk, but then again I'm trying to be generally healthier anyway so drinking heavily doesn't really fit in with that.
You can't put your whole life on hold whilst TTC because you don't know how long it's going to take! :o

My friend didn't find out she was pg until 4 months, during which time she'd been drinking half a bottle of wine nearly every night, plus more over the xmas hols!! (babba was perfect, BTW!)

Forgot to take my temp this morning and monday morn, for some reason - having remembered every other day for 2 months! Must remember to do it so that I can know when I've ov'd :o Really don't want to get into OPKs etc just yet!

Hope you're all ok :) Thank god for a 4 day week!

    BB x

Can I ask what does TLP mean? I've looked at the website with the abbreviations on it, and I can't see it? Congratulations on your BFP MSM.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
