It is short notice isnt it  It's a work friend of DH's who moved away from the area, lost our address so delivered the invite next time he was local.

I cant think of anyone. Zero family on either side means we literally never go to doo's like this

Even charity shop shopping costs though doesnt it :o

  • Order on line and sneakily return it...
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Ames, oh yes tell me about it. As long as he;s happy and he now has an incentive to get a job!

Spud, I've got a dress from Monsoon that you could borrow if you want? If you want to pm me your dress size etc, I'll give you more details.

  • Spud, it's a size 18. I've got a very broad back.

Or there's my Long Tall Sally dress which is knee length on me, but could be floor length on you? [insert confused smile!]
  • So Spud, you open on an online account, order away to your hearts content and the send it all back before the bill is due.............
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Hi.
Been shoping with DD2. Studiously ignored the M&S sale but now have to order something we couldn't get for DD1's b'day on-line so may have to have a quick peek.

    Where is Luc?

To be fair, I could possibly cobble an outfit together for myself. It wouldnt be summer weddingy, but hey.

DH has his work uniform, tracky bottoms, shorts and T shirts. Nowt he could wear for a wedding. The kids are similar, we just dont really go out.
