can you get cheap flights on ryan air or easy jet, Snags?

Not at times that would be any good, unfortunately. The train only takes 3 hours though so is probably as quick when you take into account travelling time to and from the airports, which are further out of town than the train stations, and checking-in/boarding etc.

It costs about £75 return on the train if I book in advance, so I think I could work one trip per month into my budget, and he will do the same, so we will see each other every couple of weeks.

Then there are holidays etc. He gets loads, so can come down while I am working, as I only work 5 or 6 hours a day. And in the school holidays, I can drive up with the kids, assuming things are still going well at that point.

I am going up there for my birthday weekend though and I can only find expensive tickets unless I leave at 3.15, so will need to see if I can arrange for my Mum and Dad to pick the kids up or something.

  • Hmm, sounds interesting. I might have to look into that in October.

Isn't he currently doing something on Channel Four to do with Faith Schools?

I'm currently deliving in and out of 'To Big to Fail' all about the American Banks and the credit crunch. It's hard going but man those people certainly took a lot of risks.

Lmc, you're an angel! I had no idea he was doing a show about faith schools atm, that can go in my essay. :j Thanks. :) *goes back to reading through thread*
