Great news about the jeans Claire! and the ebay sales.

I've just been looking at OU courses and I'm thinking about doing a little maths one to get up to speed. I'm reading Richard Dawkins' evolution book and really enjoying stretching my mind with facts and figures, instead of opinions like I usually study. I've done an online OU test to see where I'm at, and my science is fine but my maths is a bit weak. And I can cover the maths course with clubcard vouchers. Hmm, need to think about it a bit.

    Afternoon all. Welcome LilDevil :hello:

Well done on the jeans Claire!

Ames, that sounds really interesting - where's the OU online test?

Today I am mostly bored, work is really quiet.

Hey everybody. Just getting a bit of screen time in whilst nalle talks to his family, we went to Kankaanpaa yesterday and Tampere today and I've got my niece a little keychain doodad. Been spending a lot of time not doing much, but it's been really nice. Will fill you all in on the other side of it later :]

    LMC -

Squizz, if you look here http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/s104.htm in the 'entry' bit there's a link 'are you ready for' whatever the course number is.

My brain's about to explode, I've been looking at the part time courses and it seems that the GCSE Italian I was going to restart no longer has a concession. But there is for the basic, intermediate and advanced Italian courses at a different campus. In fact, there seems to be no logic at all, even absolute core things like maths GCSE are free at some centres and not others. And then things like Jazz tap dancing has a concession, whereas skills that could lead to a job don't. All the pt A2 courses have concessions, but not the AS, except Dance. I'm assuming they're getting rid of funding for A levels full stop but are funding the people who've already started, but not dance. Madness!

    That seems very strange!
