I don't think you get anything for referring on Toloona, but I'd recommend it for you to try.

Sounds like your day was good. Glad the choccie cake went down well. You can't go wrong with chocolate for boys.

Well today we are officially debt free..:j:j (apart from the mortgage) The last of the CC has been paid off me and capital 1 are no more. :D Its taken about 2.5 years to pay it off and I think the total highest was £35k (I daren't tell my mum that!! ) We've been very lucky to have woken up and realised just how much we was spending. My lightbulb moment was asking my sister for money as we couldn't afford the mortgage payment as we didn't have any cleared funds. I'm proud at just how far we've come.:)

DH has been paid his bonus today so I’ve transferred some money around the accounts and into my ISA ready for the regular monthly savings to go into. I'm excited about building some money up in the account. How sad am I !

I used my DTD voucher in T’s last night – my shopping came to £1.96 after the voucher I’ve transferred the cost of the voucher into ISA (£36 I think off the top of my head ) and kept the food amount on my food budget list.

Approv3d F00ds has free delivery on orders over £35 until Sunday so I’ll try and take a look at what’s in stock today. See if I can stock up. I don't need anything but I like to get offers when I find them.

2 washes on and an early start for me. Don't you just lurve these light mornings! Hope everyone has a good money making day

Just noticed I have a new star next to my name !

Yay. Just goes to show how you can turn the finances round.

I was just popping in to see if you had heard about app food free delivery. I think i will try and look today as they might have less stock towards the end of the weekend if people take advantage of the offer.

I just managed to spend £80 again. Yet more huge bags of scone mix as they are so quick and easy, along with lots of sprinkles for the ice cream the kids eat, and tins of beans. Now quite sure how i do it, but it would have been at least £10.50 delivery so i am glad i did it now.

Now, best spend some time sorting the pantry again this weekend as i haven't got a clue where i will put it. It is still quite full from last time and i have been making bread buns and scones regularly. Best have another baking session this afternoon as the snack tin is empty again.
  • If it happens again, you can sometimes get a starter motor going again with a sharp-but-not-too-hard tap with a hammer...as I recall from my classic car breakdown days!!
