Hi, I'm trying to get the code on behalf of my mum who hasn't been able to listen to her radio for over a year. If anyone can help me or even advice me where to gain the code for her vehicle (apart from asking VW themselves as there charges are ridiculous) that would be really helpful.

I'm willing to try to gain the code by myself if needed to, just don't know where to even look or what to download to try. (If you know what I need to download please let me know and I'll give it a try)

If anyone can get the code themselves the details are as follows:

Model: PU-2294A (C)

This units code can only be calculated if there is another number that is 12 letters and digits long on the barcode beginning with a letter C, not a CL such as C70000001234. Have a look to see if this style of number is on the label on the back of the unit. If not it is only possible to get the code from the main dealer or a car radio specialist.
