An elderly lady friend of mine needs a code for her Micra radio but she doesn't know where to find the serial number.
Can anyone tell me where to find the number and if it is easy to get at it, I will then pop round there and get the number so that I can post again on here to get the code.

Remove the radio and give us all references written on the labels of the radio
Here is a link to help you remove the radio => http://www.fitaudio.com/index.php?CategoryID=25

    Hello,

I just joined the forum because I need a code for my Peugeot 206 from 2001 radio player.
    The model is pu-2325A
    Serial CL0410Y0096087

Would someone be able to help me please ?

Let me know if you need more information.

    Cheers.

This units code can only be calculated if there is another number that is 12 letters and digits long on the barcode beginning with a letter C, not a CL such as C70000001234. Have a look to see if this style of number is on the label on the back of the unit. If not it is only possible to get the code from the main dealer or a car radio specialist.

Thanks for your help Trackman. These are the only other numbers on there aprt from what I have already listed? I have pulled the stereo out again totally and nothing else that closely resembles what you are saying. No bar code either ???? Checked that long number with the C to see if I had mistaken the 7 for an L but no definitely correct?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

If there is no C7000000xxxx barcode then there are no free code options..

You will have to ask your Main Dealer or the better option is to take it into a Radio Decoding Workshop to be decoded or recoded

    Hi Guys

Not sure if you can help me or not, but thought I’d give it a go!

I have a Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor (Reg: X929 XJO) and have just had to have a new battery fitted and now obviously the stereo won’t work

When I purchased the car, unfortunately there was no handbook with it, only a service report book, so I have no idea what the code for the radio would be and after looking online, a lot of people have advised that if I supply a Mercedes dealer with the VIN then they’d be able to assist but will charge me so I wondered if this is something that you would be able to help me with please?

    The VIN is WDB 170449 2F 209006

Look forward to hearing from y'all ;):D

    Try code 22133
