Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

Hi Guys

Not sure if you can help me or not, but thought I’d give it a go!

I have a Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor (Reg: X929 XJO) and have just had to have a new battery fitted and now obviously the stereo won’t work :eek:

When I purchased the car, unfortunately there was no handbook with it, only a service report book, so I have no idea what the code for the radio would be and after looking online, a lot of people have advised that if I supply a Mercedes dealer with the VIN then they’d be able to assist but will charge me so I wondered if this is something that you would be able to help me with please?

The VIN is WDB 170449 2F 209006
