I had to change my battery and although Halfords said they would try to save the code with a gadget, it didn't work. Are you able to help me with the code for the following
Make:Blaupunkt
Model Number: Ford LS RNS
Part Number: 7 612 330 547 / 9M5T-18K931-DA
Serial Number: C7E3F0547A3286680
I already have a key code but the radio must have been changed before I bought it.
I have keycode 0393 and keycode DVD 8487 but I do not have a DVD player.
Thank you in anticipation. I am hopeless without my SatNav.:o Lisa

After a couple of years with no display on my radio (Chrysler PT Cruiser) a common problem I'm told. :mad: My car battery died which after 13years wasn't bad going.... but after replacing the battery I found that I had no radio!!!! No way of seeing what the radio display was telling me to do as it wasn't working!!!!!!!!!

Some peeps were saying go online...did that and had to pay!!
Others were telling stories that main dealers want £££s to help!! So, I called the main dealer, Chrysler Romford, A very helpful girl on the phone talked to the peeps and informed me that all I needed was.....
the s/n of the radio
my cars chassis no.
and the cars log book.....
no fee but you have to come in..

30 mins later with the radio on the counter (for the s/n) and log book for the other details I was given the 4 digit code and even talked to one of their techie guys and explained my particular problem and he walked me thru the procedure...... 2 mins after reconnecting the radio it worked..... :T

moral of this story.....TALK TO YOUR MAIN DEALERS!!!!

p.s...... if you get another (same)radio from a different car you will need that cars chassis no. and the s/n of that radio then (Chrysler) will give you the code.... I ACCEPT NO BLAME if a different dealer says otherwise...
