We have managed to do it. It works, we are now tunefull once more.

For the record, the engine must remain off with just the ignition on for it to work. You can not switch it from engine running to ignition.

Also, we still didnt get the beep on turning it on - but got the beep when we entered the code. Phew!

I think it is the switching procedure that it doesn`t like as one method that usually works is leaving it switched ON for a long journey (without any stopping or starting) and then it normally resets OK

It`s good news that it now works ...even though the Main Dealer was rather cheeky charging you £30 for the code.I`m sure you can get it for a few quid cheaper....but at least you are now up and running.

Hubby will just have to work a bit longer to pay for the £30 cost !

If it is fitted into a French car (Renault etc.) then I may be able to help ....otherwise it`s a trip to the Main Dealer , local Car Radio / Audio Shop or a Decode Specialist ...with a fistful of fivers !
