  • Hi There Thanks But That Code Doesn't Work Thanks Anyway
  • He was sat there for just over an hour before and the lines came up - however when he started the engine the line dissapeared - argh!!!!!

So basically going from the car engine running to just the ignition being on or visa versa DOES affect the undisturbed mode!

I will let you know how we get on. :D

However - still no beep!!!! lol
  • Brilliant, it works Thank you VERY much!

Now the next question. I am about to take a radio out of my van. To stop this happening again, is there any way to see the code in use on a working radio.

i.e. can the radio display its code before I disconnect the battery and loose it ?

    Thanks

    Jeff

Bad news ... and bad news:rolleyes:

The only ford radios which display their M codes, with out removing
are the 4500 series?? those which look like the radios fascia are split into three.

Also we have a policy of giving out only one free code ( for personal use ) per poster
    You have had yours!
Glad I could help , the first time, Sorry about the later info.

  • can anybody help with a code for philips car 400 radio
    serial number GMO40023252132
  • I really appreciate the code you gave me. Its understandable about one code per person. It stops guys recycling stolen head units, but i dont need another code.

I am now looking to put the cdmp3 player from the car into my van, but to stop me needing a code in the future for the radio currently in the van, I am trying to avoid this happening again. Hence, is there a way to view the code from a WORKING radio so I dont need another code A mark 1 mondeo I had years ago had a way of pressing buttons and it displayed the code it was using.

Its a 4000 RDS that I need to disconnect so I am trying to avoid this scenerio of no code in the future.
