many thanks for your swift reply, have just tried to enter it, however it now wont let me enter the numbers, the CODE ---- is no longer flashing as it used to. is there any way to reset this?

If it reads Wait 30 or similar leave the radio switched on and it should count down for 30 minutes and then allow you to enter the code.

Ok, supose i do that. My question is when the wait time expires, if a disconect the power from the stereo, mount the stereo on the car to see the screen the stereo will be resseted or it will appear again 8SAFE. Because if this happens i will try to enter the code blindly, after the night.
