The only CLARION code that be calculated on any of these free Help Forums are the ones with a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000
..
Otherwise you will have to contact your Main Dealer or a Professional Radio Decode Specialist (via Ebay or Google search)0 -
Ok, supose i do that. My question is when the wait time expires, if a disconect the power from the stereo, mount the stereo on the car to see the screen the stereo will be resseted or it will appear again 8SAFE. Because if this happens i will try to enter the code blindly, after the night.
Done that in both ways, kept it 12 hours on, put it in the car, nothing still 8SAFE display, then put it back on 12 hours on, and then tried to imput the code without dthe display. Nothing, still 8SAFE. I don;t know what to do.0 -

Here are the instructions again. (I have used this method several times and it worked every time )
Instructions to reset the radio and enter the code on your workbench :
Connect the radio up to a battery supply.+ connect a speaker up to the appropriate tags.
(..Check that the battery is connected OK ......Switch the radio ON and turn the volume up to maximum. Does it make a loud hiss? If so then the battery supply is OK...Now switch it OFF)
To start the reset procedure :
PRESS AS button (and hold ) plus the ON SWITCH .at the same time
(Normally at this point , there should be a "Beep" from the speaker. If not, then your radio may be faulty.)
Now leave SWITCHED ON UNDISTURBED overnight.
It should have now reset.
To enter your code whilst still on the workbench.
If this is a radio without a display , then you will now have to enter your code "blind".
To do this , ADD 1 to every digit of your code.
So if your code is (for example ) 2478...adding one to each digit means you are pressing the Preset Buttons 3 5 8 9 times (in order) to enter the code
ie 2 plus1 = 3
4 plus 1 = 5
7 plus 1 = 8
8 plus 1 = 9
Don`t forget to use YOUR code (whatever it is ) .......adding 1 to each digit .....and enter each digit slowly+carefully.
Now PRESS AS again (+ hold for 10 seconds ) and this enters YOUR code into the radio which should now work.
If it does not work on your workbench, then you are either not following these instructions correctly , ur using the wrong code or your radio might be faulty .0
