Please Help...
My Radio does not work..
The details are as follow:
Rover R760
Type No. 22 DC 594/60E
RG Part No. XQD100950
FD 01 95 16 2004718
Serial No.: 90222159460201
00195162004718
RG594FS2004718
I cannot see anything on the screen as to where the code is to be entered and what is being entered.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks0 -
It depends on the model of car.
if it is one of the older models there will be four holes in the front. Either buy the "U" tools from halfords or another retailer or insert 4 nails gently into the holes and pull the unit out.
If it is a newer model with the large square unit fitted then you need the special tools from the internet (google for ford radio removal tool).
Thanks so much, worked a treat, instead of brute force & ignorance!
If anyone can help with the code for a 3000 radio, serial number M027446, then it would be much appreciated folks. The silence in the car is sending me over the edge!0 -

If the radio is completely dead , then check the battery supply to it with a multi-meter or test lamp.
Make sure all the connectors are fully pushed in
If you want the code then this one is not in my PHILIPS database.but if you email restoredclassic@aol.com then they should be able to help ( Quote this MSE forum and get it for free)0 -

This is a CLARION and if it has a barcode beginning with C 700000+++++ then it can be decoded here otherwise it`s a trip to the Main Dealer or Decode Specialist with a fistful of ££s!0
